The Lakes Apartments

Great place to stay at. Staff are very friendly. Has a pool, spa and recreational room. Got a great deal, $640.00 for 8 nights in a 3 bedroom apartment. Very spacious inside with plenty of blankets, a TV, free wifi, dish washer. The bathtub even had a built-in spa.

Honestly could not have asked for a nicer place to stay!

Right from the get go we were greeted by friendly staff who instead of being focused on just taking our money, actually cared about ensuring we got all settled in which made for a happy and relaxed start to our holiday. Excellent service like this is hard to come by and we won't forget it.

The rooms are large and comfortable, perfect for our whole family to relax in just as if we were at home. There's plenty of space for everyone and it's very clean as well.

Overall we couldn't recommend this place highly enough, the absolutely excellent service really made it for us!

I just stayed at these apartments over the Oz day weekend. We stayed in 2 x 3 bedrooms so can only comment on exterior and the condition of the 3 bedrooms. On the map, and in the pictures, they look like any apartments, but honesty, they were fantastic. In terms of location, it might not be at the waterfront and on the map, it might look like a far walk, but it's definitely an extremely easy walk to all the attractions. The host Steve is always busy accommodating staff and making it a pleasure to stay at. I would definitely stay here again. Make sure you ring them direct to book as it helps them and you get the same if not better rates. It helps them keep up the service as well! The townhouses/apartments are extremely clean, neat and tidy with all amenities you require.
PROS
- Larger liveable complex
- 3 bedders have 2 private garages
- Has boat parking if you have a boat
- has a games room to relax
- has community bbq facilities
- has a kid friendly pool and kid friendly spa (very rare).
- Hosts are accommodating. Nothing to difficult.
- Very clean, very tidy place and roomy
- Extremely walkable distance to all attractions and amenities, including Woolies, the beach, the boat hire, the main retail strip.
- Apartments/Townhouses has all the amenities available including a dryer or a backyard to hand your clothes or have a outdoor dinner.
- Anything you need, Steve will be able to assist. Nothing was too hard.
- Homes are very sound proof. We had heaps of kids and it didn't annoy anyone.

CONS.
- Need to add some USB power boards around.
- Missing a ball in the pool table in the games room. (minor issue that can be resolve by asking Steve)
- Need some new table tennis bats in the games room. (minor issue that can be resolved by asking Steve. We didn't because we only played for 5 minutes... the pool was more important)
- That's it... seriously couldn't fault the service, or accommodation itself. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely quiet place to relax we always return here for annual girls week. It's close to all shops and walking distance to supermarkets, pubs, op shops and easy access to beach. The apartment is fully equipped and spotlessly clean.
We enjoy coming back.
