Nice place to hang out with friends or family. the staff were friendly and nice. The chips and gravy were a little too salty for me but still crunchy overall very good experience! will be back to try more food and drinks

THE Yacht Club is much better quality food than the Boat House in Lake Wendoree.

My husband and I arrived wanting coffee and tea and cake as they were packing up. They were happy to serve us and went out of their way to get us what we ordered.

Amazing service, great food with pretty big portions and a lovely view to eat with. the servers were all very kind and didn’t mind any questions and were very receptive to us. if you get an outside seat you can also see people on the lake in their boats. it was overall a great experience and i will come back next time i’m in the area.

Had a lovely Sunday brunch here with the family today. We had made a booking the day before and thank goodness we did, it was fully booked and we know why! The kids pancakes were so fluffy and fresh. I had the fried eggs and toast with some extra sides. The coffee was top notch too, best in Ballarat. Even through they were so busy food was quick to come out without much wait time. Making Payment on the way out was delayed due a staffing issue / something with the system but overall a great visit.

Lovely location,,friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Ordered 2 pizzas, very nice, and some to take away. Would recommend.

I popped in to the Yacht Club on the 18th of July to grab a takeaway hot chocolate.

Let me just say a few things about my experience:

1. The hot chocolate was absolutely delicious - perfect temperature and so chocolatey.
2. The views of Lake Wendouree from inside the Yacht Club were absolutely stunning and the venue itself is so nice and way bigger than I expected!
3. And the best point last: The service! It was outstanding. Even though I was in and out within minutes, the staff were so friendly and accommodating - even opening the doors for me on entry and exit (which was so helpful with my pram).

I'm new to the Mum scene and don't know if this is normal service for people with prams etc but my goodness I truly appreciated it - so thank you so much!

I've heard so many good things about the service at the Yacht Club and I sure did experience this, without even having to dine in!

Such a peaceful spot - we enjoyed an early dinner while we watched the local birdlife do its thing. Cormorants drying their wings between dives, swallows cleaning themselves after a topically acrobatic flight and even a crow cheekily trying to sneak some leftovers.
Quick service, great food - overall highly recommended.

We love coming here for brunch. Parking is great. Staff are friendly. Views are lovely and a good selection of food and beverages. Food is well cooked and delicious.

Really lovely meal and a good choice of dishes. Staff very friendly. Easy parking out front and no problems with walkers.

One our meal was delivered no one came back to ask about coffees or cake etc which was a real shame as the cakes and biscuits looked great. Portions were small and a bit pricey but food was utterly delicious and we all had clean plates. Staff were very accommodating about where we wanted to sit and it was busy inside so clearly popular. Will definitely revisit.

Very nice view, family atmosphere ans friendly staff. Well priced and tasty dishes. We got the calamary and a scotch fillet. Both of them were good. Then we got a blueberry and almond tart and a choc fudge cookie which were also good. Glad to have come to Ballarat and lunched here.

Sits right on the lake. We were there for a private function. Staff were excellent. Food was plentiful and great tasting. Catered for everyone including a few vegan guests. Good selection of on tap beers.

Had your Regional conference here, staff are friendly food was nice and the best part was the view. Will come back next time I’m in the area it’s one of the best places run Ballarat :)
