Eclectic Tastes Cafe & Pantry

Oh it’s such a cute and classy cafe. Lovely outdoor seating in the good weather, cute and cozy inside. There’s some interesting dishes on the menu and the coffee is excellent. My mushroom halloumi was a great dish and the Bloody Mary was epic. It’s a tiny bit on the pricey side here but that’s eminently forgiveable with the lovely experience offered here. Service is warm and friendly. It’s a top shelf cafe for sure

Food was incredible, made even better by your lovely staff. Everyone was so welcoming and put us right at ease the minute we walked in the door. Thank you for a wonderful time.

We visited here without a booking on a Friday morning and the staff were more than accommodating to find us a table. This is a beautiful place, service was very good & food came out quite quickly! The servings were generous and absolutely delicious

Had the best brunch here today with friends from out of town!
We actually tried to go to another cafe prior but had to leave because of seating issues.
But the lovely staff here helped put together a couple of tables and chairs and made us very comfortable. Our server was an absolute delight, and we had a good laugh! The food was delicious and the perfect amount. Drinks 10/10 price was very reasonable too. We also love your name and that you're across from the old cemetery 😅 just perfect.
Also ordered a coffee for a takeaway, and it was excellent.

I will also add that if you're looking for something different for gift ideas, pop on in and check out their stock. The coolest item for me was the chocolate tool kit! So cute.

We chanced upon this delightful cafe on a day trip from Mornington. The food was creative 😋 yummy. Coffee excellent. We will most certainly return next time we are in the area.

The lamb gnocchi was delicious, the servers were all very attentive even though I was sitting outside with my cat, even offered me a blanket because the weather was cold. Very quick service too.

Dropped in for a coffee and ended up eating as well. Food was amazing, service was quick and staff were friendly. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back soon.

It doesn't pay to underate Ballarat's cafe style bistro with great barista made coffee, delicious cakes, and fresh modern Australian style meals.

The quality of the meals is consistently pleasurable as the chef always aims at careful cooking with a special garnish or flavouring. Occasionally there's a wait, but it is worth a visit.

The place is always clean, and they pay good attention to regular table cleaning, and look after their toilets. The staff are friendly and efficient.

Staff were friendly and professional, didn't hassle us or hover too much and were happy to let us be and just keep chatting after our meal was finished. Always lovely food and requests were followed. Attentive but laid back service. It's a regular and will continue to be.

The staff were attentive, meals were tasty and just the right size. We took home some cakes as we could not eat anything else while there, highly recommend the chocolate cake.

The Friday night dinner service was lovely. Excellent range of options on the menu and all quality food presented beautifully. Cosy spaces created to dine in and excellent service. Definitely will come again!

Perfect venue for great breakfast. Wonderful service and prompt delivery of beautifully prepared breakfast. Menu perfect as not huge but covers all dietry requirements.

We enjoy Eclectic Tastes for breakfast and decided to book a Friday night dinner there. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening - the food was delicious and so beautifully presented, the staff were delightful, attentive to our table and provided insights into the food and wine selections available. And the dark walls and the table light added to the atmosphere for our ‘date night’. A wonderful, friendly, ambient Friday evening restaurant which presented us with delicious, flavoursome courses that will live in our memories until we return. Thankyou so much. We loved our evening out!

Came for lunch with a friend. Food was delicious, really good atmosphere. Restaurant was busy so service was a little slow but staff were lovely. Highly recommend!

Great coffee and breakfast (and takeaway treats for later). Staff were very attentive (came out with the right cutlery for what we ordered) and the dogs were very welcomed

Pretty top food. I had some chilli prawn pasta which was amazing. Such good clean food. Really taste and really fresh. I also have pork belly salad was also really great.Amazing service staff as well. Super friendly!

Cakes are amazing with good coffee. The pancakes we had was delicious too.definitely coming back
