This is an amazing place, the staff are fabulous and the young lady who showed us around was so enthusiastic it was contagious.
We saw all the animals we expected and quite a few we hadn’t heard of.
The kangaroos are exceptional, the koalas are a bit aloof, but they are wild animals and we must respect them.
I can only recommend this place as a must see destination if you’re travelling the Great Ocean Road.

We had a wonderful tour with Sarah yesterday. She was very knowledgeable and wonderful with the 2 kids we had with us. We were super lucky to see wallabies, kangaroos, emus, kolas and even a pademelon. It was a great facility and not for profit with the money going to conservation. Go if you're in the area.

Very good tour. Luck plays a huge role. If you're lucky all the animals come out for you to see them. If unlucky they stay hidden and it's just a nice walk with some nice scenery.

The middle part where you get to see across the edge into the ocean really is nice.

The tour guide Waa amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and very good at what she does.

Cafe was decent too.

Bonus, the money you pay goes to conserving Australian wildlife, so you feel good for giving to a good cause.

Wildlife Wonders Dusk Discovery walk is fabulous. When you arrive you are given a light snack dinner. A small talk about the park leads you on the walk. Our guide, Alex was so full of enthusiasm. We saw koalas 🐨🐨🐨EmuWallaby
Wildlife Wonders provides a sanctuary for small native mammals like Potoroos and Bandicoots but is also home to species that have been lost from the Otways, such as Bettongs and Pademelons. Dusk is a magical time in the Great Ocean Road region

What an excellent experience! We basically saw them all: koalas, kangaroos, emus, wallabies, a bandicoot, and potoroos. But the star of the show was the wild yellow tailed black cockatoo! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and was just as excited as we were to catch glimpses of all the creatures. Would recommend (and return!)

Absolutely LOVED our Walk with Wildlife today! We were four adults and from the moment we walked in we felt welcomed with open arms. Our amazing tour guide Sascha pointed out many different plants and animals to us. We were lucky enough to see many pademelons, wallabies, kangaroos, koalas and a pair of emus! And if they are far away you can even use the binoculars they give to you at the start. On top of that, this place looks and feels top-notch. The cafe offers a very high standard of food and beverages, we were even amazed by the high quality of the gift shop. All in all an amazing experience and worth every cent. As a matter of fact, TAKE MY MONEY and continue taking the best of care of this wildlife sanctuary 🥰

Nicole and Finn were lovely hosts.
As soon as we stepped through the door it felt like going on a school excursion, in a good way!
We did the twilight tour and were served paella for dinner…I thought it would be a snack but we got a meal before our tour. Anytime someone else cooks for my family it’s a win!
Even tho it was drizzling We saw a few koalas & kangaroos…enough to keep the kiddos engaged.
It was a fun night out 😃 support these guys & their fabulous work!

Unforgettable & highly recommended!

Worth every penny and planning the drive so that you can do the guided tour! Sasha was an extremely knowledgeable guide and a pleasure to learn from, overall it was a highly educating visit.

As they promise, it is animals first, so no promises on what you’ll see. We still saw plenty (pademelons, a bandicoot, koalas, kangaroos, various birds, ..) and were impressed by the professionalism and the work they do. Happy to support places like this.

Facilities are spotless and convenient, cafe serves great coffee and lunch seemed delicious (would have stayed if we had more time).

Do it.

We had a lovely visit, Annalisa (think we got the name right!) Was an excellent and informative guide, the other staff inside the centre were lovely and the gf brownie and chocolate cakes were delicious.

We saw a number of koala, pademelon, a swamp rat, a bush rat, kangaroos and an emu.

Totally worth it experience with expert guide and wonderful path. If you get here on a windy/rainy day it's better cause the animals come out. You'll see koalas, wallaby, kangaroos, emu and bandicoot.

Thank you for the amazing tour Nikole, it was a pleasure and so informational. We had seen some animals before but to get the context of there role in the eco system is just next level. The facility has a nice restroom and fresh water 💦 as well as amazing coffee at the cafe. It was a good decision to come here. Make sure to donate to support the work!

Our tour guide Liam, was enthusiastic, knowledgable, friendly, and capable. He showed us animals we had never seen, and told us things we had never known. It is clear the park takes their conservation mission very seriously. They’ve invested a lot in fencing and trail cameras to protect native species from cats and foxes. The tickets are expensive, but they’re obviously putting the money into important conservation work, so we felt good paying it. The tour was also a great, worthwhile tour. We saw koalas and emus and kangaroos and PADEMELONS and two different types of wallabies and lots of different types of birds. And LOTS of koalas. They’re allowed to leave, but they seem to like it here because it is so awesome. They gave us ponchos and binoculars and electronic earpieces so you can hear the guide without them having to yell and scare the animals, or have everyone crowd too close. It was a really useful way to find out about native plants and animals, and their place in the ecosystems, which was useful context for the rest of our travels. There was a joey inside a kangaroo pouch, and we saw his little feetsies. Not just our guide, but all of the staff seemed really genuine and friendly. They all seemed to be serious about conservation and the environment, and they were excited to engage us in how cool nature is. There were just really positive vibes overall. There was a beautiful ocean view, too. Along the walk, they’ve got a cool research station with more of a museum/lab feel. We packed snacks, but they asked us to leave them behind so the emus wouldn’t smell them (they kept them safe and we retrieved upon return). So, plan to leave snacks in the car. Highly recommend stopping here if you are a Great Ocean Road traveller like we were, and their cafe and gift shop are truly top-tier as well!

I went on the dusk tour with my fiancee and had a lovely experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the offer of delicious food and a nice chat with the other walkers prior to our tour. It was a quiet yet knowledgeable walk as our conservationist spoke about every animal and plant that we saw on our trail. We were able to see wild kangaroos, wallabies, emus, potoroos, koalas, as well as the beautiful sunset over the Bass Straight. I highly recommend going on the dawn or dusk tours, as not only can you experience a quiet and beautiful walk through the Otways but also support great conservation work.

We had an amazing time looking at the wildlife and learning more about the creatures and vegetation here in Victoria. Liam who is a great guide, would highly highly recommend visiting this place!

I went on the dawn tour with Seamus, who was a lovely guide. We saw koalas, bush rats, wallabies, kangaroos and emus. Binoculars were provided. A yummy breakfast was served afterwards (with home grown tomatoes!) The property used to be a sheep farm and they are working on restoring it back to an Australian native ecosystem which is very commendable.
