The Dolphin Apartments

We really enjoyed our stay in a 2 bedroom ocean view apartment at Dolphin Apartments. It is clean, modern with everything you need including dishwasher detergent and washing powder. Beds are extremely comfortable with great pillows. Bathrooms have full toiletries dispensers in the showers, the towels are large. Situated across the road from the beach and walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants, it was quiet at night. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Apollo Bay.

It was our first stay in Apollo Bay and we loved it. Our stay at Dolphin apartments was lovely. Everything is in walking distance and the beach is so close. In the apartment itself everything was lovely and spacious and clean ... plus the beds were super comfortable. Definitely a treasure I am glad we have found and gladly recommend it for all travellers.

We have stayed numerous times; the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The apartment is always very clean and caters well to the needs of a family.
WE stayed this time on the ground floor (We have stayed on each level and they are all great- especially the view from the pent house !!!) It was handy to stay on the ground floor with surf boards and beach wagons etc with plenty of storage.
It is always quiet and within a couple of minutes walking distance of the main street and plenty of off street parking.
Our hosts are always friendly (above and beyond pleasantries) and full of local knowledge and great advice.
I'll be booking soon for the seafood festival!!!!

We were lucky to book the last room available in January and pleasantly surprised by all the space and barbecue facilities.

A beautiful spacious 2 bedroom apartment very close to town with a front and rear courtyard.

It has two toilets, two showers and a bathtub which is handy for a family.

Great to also have a laundry and nice size kitchen and fridge to prepare meals.

We would highly recommend staying here and will definitely return for our next visit to Apollo Bay.

Perfect place to stay in Apollo Bay! Right opposite the beach, close to shops and transport, and lovely spacious apartments with everything we needed. Staff were so friendly and welcoming, and even suprised our toddler with some chocolates for Christmas Day - how thoughtful and lovely!

Had a lovely stay here. Friendly welcome on check in, were shown to our apartment along with a koala along the way. The apartment itself was spacious, immaculate and comfortable. Highly recommended and we look forward to our next stay. Thanks guys!

We stayed 4 nights over the grand final weekend. Can’t really fault the place it was ideal for our family of 3. Great appliances great space and great location. Michael and Emily were also great. The ultimate escape. We stayed 3 nights in one of the penthouse apartments, will definitely be coming back. Large glass sliding doors open onto a private balcony with fabulous ocean views. Beautifully furnished and extremely clean. Perfect location, easy walk to restaurants, cafes and supermarket. Michael was extremely friendly and helpful with tips on where to eat and what to do. Highly recommend.

Was in a spot of bother travelling through to Adelaide along the Great Ocean Road. Needed accom at a moments notice. Contacted and was received by Michael, whom sorted myself and my party out with Apartment 6. Even though it was just a quick stop in, we cannot thank you enough for the last minute room (which was fantastic), and the warm inviting service. When we come back around (need to visit the locations we missed this time) in a few months hopefully, we will be booking again. Cheers guys!

Michael & Emily are so accommodating & an absolute delight to chat to. Stayed in the Penthouse which offered an amazing view of the ocean & rolling hills behind. Stayed an extra 2 nights in another apartment & that was just as good as the Penthouse, still had partial view of ocean. Both apartments had the comforts of home & so very clean. Highly recommended.

We stayed a week in a second floor apartment, the rooms were really clean, a nice modern layout, very comfortable bed and well kitchen stocked with all you would need, a couple of niggles such as blunt knives, but nothing really to detract from a great stay. The aircon gave a good level of warmth on the cooler nights. No issues with parking and definitely no issues with the Koala in the tree outside a couple of times during our stay. Good location, walking distance for dining, the beach and the IGA for groceries.

I haven’t even slept here the night yet but looking forward to waking up to the amazing sunrise tomorrow morning. The staff are super friendly and very welcoming. The apartment it self is amazing. Clean kitchens and utilities and is one of the more modern apartments to stay in Apollo bay. Easy access from apartment to car park and stunning views of the water from the balcony. Highly recommend.

Our 2-bedroom apartment was clean and comfortable.
The location was excellent, minutes away from food. (However, our view of the sea was a partial one.)
Michael, our host was very helpful with suggestions on what to do and where to eat..
Bonus - the 'resident' koalas which Michael told us about and subsequently pointed out.

The Dolphin Apartments were rated highly and recommended to us by a family member. We will now also recommend it to others and definitely stay here again.
The apartment was big and spacious and we had a very comfortable King Size bed. The kitchen is well equipped as we like cooking our own breakfast and so on. Nice big clean bathroom and there's an ensuite bathroom too, having two toilets was handy as well.
We had an ocean view room so that was lovely also. There's even a resident Koala in an adjoining gum tree.
All in all, we highly recommend this as a great place to stay in Apollo Bay.
The owners, Michael and Emily are both very friendly and welcoming and have heaps of local area knowledge.

Modern spacious two bedroom units near the beach and a short walk to the town center. Clean and well equipped kitchen etc. The main bedroom has a spa bath in the ensuite. Good views from the second floor to the ocean. Good location if you're here for the Great Ocean Road Marathon. Buses to the half marathon leave across the road. Reverse cycle aircon Friendly staff. Happy to come back for the 2024 event.

We just spent a weekend at Dolphin apartments in Apollo Bay. Nice clean apartment with 2 generous bedrooms and more importantly 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice to see operation instructions for appliances put in place. Michael, Emily and Donald were pleasant and welcoming. They were also easy to deal with as we had to cancel once and rebook our stay. The whole process was seamless. The common waste bins were hidden from view. I think these small things show the thoughtfulness of proprietors.

The most important plus is the ocean view right from the apartment. It was great to watch sunrise right from the lounge! It’s location is very convenient too. Very close to the foreshore and the main shopping strip.

Would definitely recommend!!!

I recently stayed at the Dolphin Apartments, which were recommended by a family member. Glad I took his advice . The room was immaculate. Very clean and quite spacious. Full kitchen if you don't mind cooking on your holidays. Great view of the beach and on site parking. Clean car park aswell. I highly recommend the Dolphin Apartments, and your hosts Michael and Emily will make sure your stay is memorable. I'll certainly come again.

We were very pleased with the apartment, immaculate, generously sized and peaceful place to stay in. Extra points for the location. Walking distance to the beach and the shops.
The host reached out to us because we left some belongings in the apartments. It is very good service. We will defenitely refer the apartment to friends and family
