Wharf Shed

Highly recommend eating here when visiting Geelong 👌. On the waterfront, excellent meals, prompt service and great atmosphere. Meals are large portions and a good variety. Gluten free and vegan options available 👍

Had a great experience here. Top tier staff who were not only prompt and efficient, but also kind and very considerate. They allowed us to sit outside with our dog, brought him water and were attentive of my grandmother's mobility issues making the whole experience a breeze. Many small and attentive gestures showed that the staff are a phenomenal asset to Wharf Shed.
Food was great value for money, great portions, fresh and delicious. Coffee was stellar. Take home box for the massive wedges (so fresh and delicious).

Disabled parking immediately next to the café. Great view overlooking the water and a clean and open park adjacent. View included watching the helicopter, right in front of the cafe, take off and land to give short rides to the tourists (yet was not noisy or of any bother!) and one can see the ferris wheel not far away.

The ambience was fantastic (beautiful live music) and this great cafe at a fantastic location was the highlight of the Geelong trip.

Tourists will love this friendly and clean restaurant cafe with great food at a safe, beautiful and accommodating location. 5/5

It is always nice feeling to visit this awesome restaurant on Eastern beach Geelong, Fantastic food, good value and above all served with very well mannered youngster with smiles!!

Rad. We are in the hood 4 times a year for the Mill Markets and this was the first time coming here. Everything was great. Even with the restaurant being busy, we got our food in a good amount of time and it was delicious! Kitchen forgot to dress my salad but that was fine, went up to the bar and they got me some dressing no dramas. Nice position near the water and the live music wasn't so loud that you couldn't have a conversation. Was a nice arvo- will be back. P.s calamari & parma- delish!

It's a pity that I never came to eat at your restaurant in the past. But it's not too late. I ordered a pizza that was the most delicious thing I've eaten in Victoria. It's super delicious.

Compared to our last visit from a few years ago, Wharf Shed has come a long way!

The place is now great - great location, good food and friendly staff! The food we had were great and enjoyed our time there. Vastly different from our first visit. Congrats on such an amazing turnaround and improvement!

Highly recommend this place. The food is amazing, tasty, big portions to share and maybe to take home too. The bread from la madré was excellent and the dips were the right choice.
Love the service and the people - very engaging, always asking if we need anything; the barman was very nice and patient while taking our order.

Very nice place. There's indoor sitting and outdoor doors, beautiful views, and the staff are very friendly. The menu is great, and the bar has a very wide variety.
We I visited there was a man playing the guitar and singing which gave the place a wonderful atmosphere.

Lovely place, nice quiet music playing, super nice servers, very inclusive place and beautiful/clean. Food was so nice as well!

If you are visiting Geelong do yourself a favour a drop into the Wharf Shed. Great service. Great value for money. The melas are huge and the service is great. Plenty of room for a group or cosey for two. I ordered the king prawn salad and it was so delightful to see big fresh and generous arriving of prawns. Was simply amazing. None of us could finish our meals and the team happily gave us some take away containers. Wheelchair friendly to I need to say. Big thanks to the team. We loved it. Enjoy xxxxx

Sure $31 is a lot for some hot chips and two juices, but you get one of the best views of Eastern Beach in my opinion. The chips weren't bad and we got a decent amount, the juices were pre-made but the view is fantastic.

took my mum here for her birthday. all the servers were lovely and i had this delicious barramundi with a curry sauce and a salad, which i have been thinking about since. definitely going to go back!!

The service was lovely, great vibes! The food was delicious, fresh, well made and it came out so quick despite how busy it was for a Saturday lunch! Fantastic. Had the beef burger, it was pretty good.

Enjoyed a Sunday lunch and the food was fantastic, service was great even though they were packed. Food was served within 20 minutes of us ordering. We had a lovely view over the bay and really enjoyed our experience. Booking is essential!

Ok, so we didn't eat here. Just a coffee. It was before lunch BUT the smells coming from the kitchen were to die for. I would have died too ... $160 (I think I saw) for a shared seafood platter is a bit much for a lowly country boy ... But it smelt great!
Service was quick and friendly. Oh, the coffee was good!

The Wharf Shed was our favourite place to come when we lived in Geelong.

This Saturday (6th April 2024) we had our wedding reception there, and it was fantastic!

All the staff were so polite to our group, and went above and beyond making sure everyone got served quickly and had a good time.
The chefs did a bloody amazing job pumping out the food, and we all enjoyed our meals and left with full bellies. (with food coma’s to follow)

Party of five with varied food selections. The dishes were tasty and well plated. Prices were very reasonable. Great service and view.

Nice presentation, cooked with nice flavour. I ordered king prawn Laksa, perfect amount of spiciness, never had roti with it before, but it's a good combination😉. The cheese garlic pizza, delicious too👌will recommend to all my friends coming to Geelong Beach side.

Decided to check this place out in which we decided to have lunch. Found the service was excellent (all the staff were friendly and polite). The food was well done and tasty. It was a good atmosphere with outdoor views as well as live music. Reasonably well priced. Great location. Well worth trying out.
