The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel

Excellent accommodation. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. Close to everything in Hobart. Very highly recommend the Old Woolstore

We got a 2BR apartment and, for the price it was very good. The rooms are spacious and quiet, and the kitchen is very well stocked with pots and pans and a full size refrigerator. The unit itself was really enormous!

Location is great and he only a couple blocks back from the wharf.

Hotel staff were really friendly too.

Our stay at the old Woolstore apartment was a breath of fresh air. After staying in six other hotels/apartments during our stay in Tasmania, it was wonderful to walk in to the two bedroom apartment and take in the spacious layout from the fully decked out kitchenette, a laundry included with dryer, the living and dining area. The Jack and Jill style bathroom, and I appreciated the quality of the shampoo conditioners etc and the way they were laid out was so sweet, I particularly loved the special face flannel with the embroidery “make up remover”
And the very spacious large bedrooms with wardrobes and more than enough space to pack away your suitcase so you could keep your area tidy. Everything was so clean and tidy. I honestly couldn’t fault it. We had room service for dinner. The Restaurant delivered our order very promptly, the food was hot and very tasty.
Should we return to Tasmania this hotel apartment would be top of my list to stay!

Awesome location, within walking distance to the centre.
The mattress were very soft, but otherwise all was nice.

They have secure bike storage and wash station.

This hotel has a welcoming and professional environment and is situated perfectly right in the middle of town, near the docks and market with plenty of surrounding restaurants and cafes. The rooms and service are outstanding.

I recently stayed at The Old Woolstore, I loved my stay! All the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. My room was spacious, clean & very comfortable. The location is convenient to all sorts of sights, transport & the CBD. Overall I would highly recommend a stay at The old Woolstore & I am looking forward to my next visit.

This place was great, centrally located, rooms are clean and spacious, it's quiet despite being on a main road. Nathan from reception was especially helpful and was very responsive to a complicated situation we had with our online booking. Thanks Nathan!

Couple of nights in Hobart. Really good spot. Close to everything, including the helicopter landing pad of the hospital but that was fun to watch and not annoying during the night. Meals were good and bed was comfy. Will be back.

We were in a studio apartment which was very spacious and included a washing machine ! Great hotel , easy walk to many restaurants, nice buffet breakfast each morning, friendly staff, we were on 9th floor very quiet room and comfortable bed. Would stay again!

I recently stayed here as my mother was nearing end of life at the Royal Hobart Hospital. Everything was brilliant. The location, room and the exceptional caring service provided by the staff made my stay the best it could be under the circumstances. Thank you so much for your care and understanding. I will definitely stay again.

Staff are amazing and so helpful. So close to shops, city centre,Salamanca markets. Safe and secure place. Multiple hotel room/ apartment options. Highly recommended

I wasn't expecting much but the Old woolstore Apartmets were very comfortable. The beds were amazing. No decor but and easy place to stay

Great hotel with history. The rooms had all the essentials and the beds were comfy. Strong wifi. There is also a buffet at the G floor with a good variety of options and they taste nice. Overall If you are looking for a hotel this would be a one to consider.

Visiting Hobart for business to attend a conference at the Grand Chancellor , I enjoyed a two night stay at the Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel.
The apartments are spacious and comfortable, excellent walking proximity to Brook St Pier and Salamanca. Easy and efficient to deal with. Will be back.

It was a fantastic experience to stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and provided all amenities. Most importantly, the staff were excellent. Special mention must be made of Bibi who was so compassionate and caring and went above and beyond her regular duties and is an outstanding asset to this hotel. Very highly recommended; you will find this to be a wonderful and fulfilling place to stay in Hobart.

Always love staying here when travelling to Hobart. The convenience of apartment style hotel rooms with kitchen/washer/dryer, but with full hotel experience and room service and fab on-site restaurant. Great conference facilities and fun bar. Staff are always amazing and the walking distance to Salamanca & the marina is great. Great for families and corporate accommodation alike 😊

Extremely comfortable rooms. A choice of 3 different pillows was excellent. All the staff were happy and friendly. The breakfast was excellent also. Well worth a stay.
