Car Park - Macquarie Point

I've seen the other reviews about the price. From my POV it's very reasonable. We were here on a cruise ship overnight. We parked a hire car at 5pm and didn't drive out of the carpark until around 11am the next day (we had a few drinks that night onboard and aren't morning people) and we only paid $31 total. I didn't have to worry about time restrictions and it's right next to the ship so prefect option for anyone staying on a ship there overnight.

Doing some ground works next to carpark that impedes a little. Follow the large laminated sign and traffic cones into the carpark. Park then get a ticket. Can use card or coins.
$3 an hr or $14 for the day.
I parked on a Thursday late morning, still had plenty of parking down the back.

Great little shopping centre with a great variety of shops from food to clothing and banking and all the staff we came across were very friendly.

Now run by Sultan Parking and all they care about is ripping you off. Used to be a reasonable $14 for a full day under the previous management, now the charges are extremely steep unless you stay a whole day and qualify for early bird parking (enter between 5am and 9am and leave between 4pm and 7pm). You pay at the gate when leaving so you can’t just pay the extra time to halve the price. It is nonsensical that those who enter at 7am and leave between 3pm and 4pm would be lumped with the $28 daily maximum. Why not a system where you enter between 5am and 9am and stay at least 8 hours to qualify for early bird pricing? Or at least start the qualifying leave times at 3pm!

Regularly has internet issues or ticket not printing, hard to sort the issue and if you don't be prepared to be late for work and if you don't be prepared for a parking fine.
