Sash Coffee no longer exist

Sash is a local icon - this fantastic ‘hole in the wall’ coffee and food in the shopping hub of Sandy Bay. Low key signage and a quiet exterior hide charming and efficient staff, great food and the best coffee for miles.
This really is a local hang out, with tradies and joggers in the first shift, replaced by office workers and local shop keepers later. The menu is simple but good and the Sash team seem to know everyone!

Friendly staff with great coffee (not sub-par great, actually great coffee). Nice selection of small savoury and sweet food. Highly reccomend if you need your coffee fix.

Love the ambience of this place! Cozy coffee shop with friendly staff. Enjoyed the mocha, iced coffee with ice cream and vanilla milkshake on our first visit. Highly recommended and surely visit the next time I am in Hobart.

As a visitor in a new city it’s hard to know where to find a great coffee spot. RIGHT HERE! I happily stumbled across Sash the first day I was in Hobart and it’s a real gem. The customer service and quality of the coffee are both exceptional. Lots of locals know it, and now you do to!

I’m a Melbourne based coffee lover, but hands down, SASH makes the best coffee in the entire world. Awesome positive vibes, quick service, sunny spot with chairs outside too, delicious cabinet treats. If you’re in Hobart you have to make this your local!

Excellent cafe with baristas who genuinely care about the coffee they produce and doing the proud mary beans justice. Possibly the coolest cafe in Hobart with very friendly and welcoming staff. Well worth a visit.

The best choice for coffee in Sandy Bay (and indeed, most of Hobart). Prompt service from super friendly and welcoming staff - you’ll feel like a regular on your first visit. Recommended.

It is sad to say that Sash has had to close it's doors due to the lease not been renewed. The owner of the building thinks he can make run the coffee shop, hoping to trade on the goodwill built up by the great staff that work hard for many years ☕ I am taking my custom and following them to there new premises in North Hobart opening in mid-July 2021. Good coffee, amazing food, friendly staff. The “punch in the mouth” savoury tart was outstanding as was the apple and blueberry muffin - both warmed to perfection. Almond milk available, accepts credit card & payWave.

I really liked the coffee here. I personally love harbour lights coffee however this rates just as good in my opinion. I’m pretty harsh about my coffee!!! I only allow myself one a day so it needs to be special!

Had an amazing pour over filter here, there isn't much room, but you can perch on a stool to carve out some breakfast space. Food is delicious, fresh with quality ingredients.

Definitely ask the barista for a recommendation if you are always trying new beans like me.

Sash serves up the finest cup of coffee in Tasmania. The sweet treats and savory delights are also splendid. Favourite item on the breakfast snack menu: punch-in-the-mouth tart. Spicily magnificent. The Sash team are gems!

BEST COFFEE IN AUSTRALIA (Melbourne’s got nothing on SASH) served by humans as delicious and warm as their coffee. Even if you’re in the city, it’s worth going out of your way for! Even if you’re on the mainland, you should make the trip.

I'm a decaf drinking and this is one of the few places in Hobart that grinds fresh beans for decaf - tastes like real coffee!

Love the coffee! For any coffee lover, this niche coffee shop is a must have on your list. The people are lovely and the food is good too for a quick lunch or take away.
