THE STAGG - CITY

We visited on our Australia trip and I couldn't have been happier - the food was beyond excellent, the coffee was divine and even more welcome was the friendly employees. We stopped by multiple times on our short Tasmania trip and were never once left unhappy. Can't wait to return

Inadvertently, yesterday morning, I misplaced my review intended for another coffee place.
However, today I am pleased to rectify my review. And, I have to admit that without Jono's prompting my in-error review (great, in a very rare fairplay towards business competitors!, Jono proved his honesty).

Although, today I had my 1st time coffee at The Stagg City venue.
Services great, people fantastic, coffee super!
Highly recommended.

Great coffee and service. Despite the fact that I’m an irregular visitor for business. I have a mocha and the team here always seem to remember me and how I like it …. Lots of chocolate. Also the sausage rolls are awesome…. Any time of day !

Glorious gluten free toasted sandwiches and great coffee. Fast and friendly service.

Wow, what a fantastic place. We are on holidays and this is right by our hotel so came in yesterday for breakfast, and had the best Bacon, Cheese & Egg Roll ever! So good. Came back the next day, and they knew our drinks order without asking. Excellent coffee and perfect proper leaf tea, so good! Bircher Muesli this time was excellent also! 12/10 will come back!!!

Mediterranean Toastie’ which was delicious

I was staying at movenpick and walked past and saw people queuing up to have breakfast here. I stopped and ordered an egg & bacon roll. Woww! The breakfast here is very delicious with spicy sauce offered. The service staff is very good.

Excellent location in CBD. Superb service and quality of products. Highly recommend. Although the products are slightly pricy they definitely make up for it in high quality coffee and other products, which are probably the best in hobart.

We came for breaky this morning. The staff were friendly and efficient. We had the egg and bacon roll (scrambled egg with relish dressing), the salmon sanga that had capers, cream cheese, red onion and the staff were lovely to organise Boeing old toast and peanut butter for the kids. Nice hot drinks and sitting outside in the sun was delicious! My husband loved the E&B roll - he said the relish really made it and was one of the best he has had. Thanks for breaky guys!

At the top of the bus interchange, directly across from Franklin Square and the beautiful sandstone GPO off to the left. The Stagg City Cafe has the best outlook of any establishment in Hobart. Inside is clean & minimalist, in a satisfying way with large windows. Food & coffee are great as is the service. The witty blackboard outside is a bonus!

Staff awesome very personal and remember yur name their customers must b great also the only coffee shop that provides donated coffees!!!!

This place is an excellent quick stop coffee, breakfast, lunch place. I ordered Chickie Babe on Turkish, coffee and the next day granola, yum

I think it’s one of the best coffee in Hobart. It’s really good! It’s right in the middle of the city so you can enjoy the morning vibe of Hobart downtown while sipping the coffee.
