Paesano Pizza & Pasta

Little local pizza joint with great Australian styled toppings. You can get all sorts of toppings here but the pizza base and crust are perfectly chewy and flavour packed. Decent desserts as well. Has two tables outside that's dog friendly. BYO.

Holidayers staying in Hobart for a few days. Had a rental round the corner and knew we had to grab some pizza from here. The reviews were not wrong, we had a bolognese calzone, and dela casa pizza and our little man had kids carbonara. Staff were friendly on the phone and great in person. Restaurant had a nice atmosphere and busy but well oiled team. Some of the freshest pizza I've ever had. Really generous toppings, well cooked and nice deeper pan Crust style pizza. And I wasn't sad my son didn't finish the carbonara because I smashed it. Lovely pasta too! Thank you!

Very good pizza with crunchy and CHUNKY edges. They aren't dry at all!
The servers were really sweet and kind.

View from upstairs was awesome. The garlic bread was the best until the pizza with the lot came out. OMG, this pizza I wish I could take back home with me it was excellent, and there were so many flavours.

I arrived in Hobart in the late evening after a trip from Queensland and stumbled upon a restaurant nearby my accommodation. We decided to order a pizza to take away just before the restaurant was about to close. The owner of the restaurant was very friendly, and we had a pleasant conversation while he was making our pizza. We took the pizza back to our hotel and were amazed at how tasty it was. As a former pizza shop owner myself, I can say that it was one of the most delicious pizzas I have ever had.

We are here from QLD, Paesano was just down the road from our accommodation,
They were flat out and said it would be about an hour wait, the owner came over and said he would do both pizzas for us in 15minutes,. Thank you so much for fitting us in when you were under the pump the most yummiest pizza we have had the sauce was spectacular to say the least.

Great food so much so we went twice during our 3 night stay in Hobart. Super friendly helpful wait staff. Pizza was up there with the best ever. Experience slightly dampened by over priced drinks.

Second visit to Paesano, completely enjoyed our experience both times. New to the area we were out for an afternoon walk and decided to stop over for a glass of red and a quick bite. Such a relaxing spot, we loved our pizza and wine, and staff were friendly and helpful.

Paesano Pizza & Pasta is a hidden gem! Their pasta dishes are perfection, and the roasted pumpkin pizza is a unique delight. Their lasagne is to die for. The garlic bread is heavenly, and the staff is top-notch. The romantic ambiance adds to the authentic Italian experience. It's one of my go-to places! 🍕🍝❤

Absolutely great cozy restaurant with tasty Italian dishes. Gnocchi was amazing. Carbonara sauce was such a heaven. Pizza bread itself was very good and toppings are also well balanced. Definitely willing to visit again. Plus. Waitresses are very kind

Yum, best pizza in Hobart. I always pick up a pizza from here when I'm in town. Great selection for dine in or takeaway. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They have a wide variety of other meals available as well.

What a lovely place to dine, especially if you get a table upstairs . Staff were friendly, helpful & attentive.
The food was gorgeous... house-made garlic bread, all that buttery, garlicky goodness. The gnocchi with Pollo Rustico sauce did not disappoint! (You know when you wish you had two stomachs?! 😜) Fabulous punchy, fresh flavours, SO delicious. Generous portions. We will absolutely be back!

Friends and I back from a long drive and called last minute for booking which they catered to within our time frames (Tues night). They gave us a nice table upstairs and led us there straight away. The atmosphere was very homey, beautifully set up with a nice view of the sky sunset. Our waitress was young but spoke really professionally and was super helpful in offering us wine tastings and menu recommendations. We ordered wine and the Di Luca pasta and it was one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in Hobart (there for 5 days). It was a large portion and we could choose which pasta to have with it. Plenty of Parmesan to self serve. We asked for tiramisu take away and were very pleased with it (lots of delicious cream). Would absolutely recommend!

This restaurant is outstanding. The food was amazing, the staff are not only friendly and obliging, but also attentive and clearly love their jobs. I would go back here (and will) in a heartbeat.

What a great find ! The food was excellent, our party of four each chose something different & we all very much enjoyed our meals. We had a table upstairs & the atmosphere in the small room, with large windows, was very pleasant. I recommend making a booking because this café is very popular. I chose the "King Prawn CALZONE" and it was absolutely delicious.

I ordered takeaway bbq chicken pizza and garlic bread tonight. Both the pizza and garlic bread were delicious! I will definitely be ordering again in the near future.

Just order a family sized "Paesano's". The base is unreal and very light on oil, leaving you full not sick. The new owner elevated an already good product into a reliable and consistent product.
So good ♥

I had the Di Luca with Fettuccine $30 and my wife had the Lasagna Paesano $25 which were both delicious!

Amazing. Speedy AND tasty. Ordered a takeaway right smack peak hour Saturday night at 825pm. Was told I could pick up at 850pm latest. Was ready upon arrival. As They werent as busy we asked if we could dine in instead and they obliged with juch) much enthusiasm. Service was sharp. Pizza dough slightly on the thick side. Pasta looks like it's more popular there. 👌 Four stars for food. Five stars for speed, service and whole feel of a relax pizza diner
