Service is not quick but entirely worth the wait and there is an excellent reason for the wait.
It is a couple owner/operated business with just them, so one in the kitchen and the other doing everything else. This leads to consistency and high quality production and presentation of very interesting cafe dishes.
Such as the home made baked legumes with wilted greens and artfully crafted avo.

This cosy cafe is a bit hidden away, but it is worth the search. It is located at a little quiet courtyard that also has a community blackboard that is definitely worth a read. The bright yellow tables outside make for a really happy environment. The coffee was good and the waffles were nice - we like having something a bit different for brunch. The food was also delivered quite quickly! All in all, would recommend!

Great food, service and vibe. Many gluten free options. One of the best breakfast places in Hobart.

Amazing coffee!
We tried the almond milk latte with hazelnut syrup and it’s the best one we’ve had so far! All the flavours blend in together, not too sweet, just perfect!
The oat velvet was a very good vegan alternative to the turmeric latte!
Good amount of vegan cakes and sweet snacks available!
Seating place outdoor and indoor.

Lovely place with indoor and outdoor - good covid safe seating. Wonderful creative menu options for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. Really good cooking.

The food was awesome! Although it took a while to get it served but it was totally worth the wait! Their savoury waffles were amazing. Coffee was great as well! Will definitely be back after the pandemic (hopefully soon!).

My favourite cafe from our trip to Hobart. Pictured are the Nutella custard waffle, sweet potato waffle, and corn fritters. I was very impressed by the Nutella waffles which weren't too sweet and had a great crispy texture. I would definitely also order the other dishes we had again. I also very much enjoyed the Malabar chai tea which I had never tried before.

My partner and I came here for breakfast on his birthday a few weeks ago. It was the best Eggs Benedict & Eggs Royale we’ve ever had. We always try to go somewhere new when we are hunting a breakfast place and this was amazing. The sourdough bread was really nice with the poached eggs. Both were complimented with a lovely amount of bacon and salmon. Editing this because I forgot to mention how great the hollandaise sauce was!

A nice little cafe in the Hobart CBD. The waffles were cooked nicely and decorated well especially with the avocado flower. The service was quick and friendly, definitely would recommned a visit.

Small cafe but good coffee. Tried the savory pancake option, did not disappoint. Eggs benny was made so nice, egg yolk is dark and orangey, can tell they use very fresh ingredients. Attentive staff for a super early Monday visit from us at 7am!

A small, well hidden gem. The service was very friendly and helpful, and we hoped the food would be on the same level, but it was even better. I have no idea how they gave so much to eat, yet it was quite light and very delicious. A definite must go, and we will be planning a return trip soon (but let me work out these calories from the dessert first)....

It's the little things that differentiates this cafe from others in Hobart - including: the outstanding food presentation; superb HOT coffee (in a double walled glass to keep it hot); pleasant staff and surrounds AND great tasting food. It's the complete package. My breakfast was perfect and the savory muffin I took away with me for lunch was moist and healthy.

An unassuming little cafe tucked away behind Criterion St. I was so excited about there being both savoury and sweet vegan waffle options that I couldn’t resist ordering both, and didn’t regret it! All the staff were lovely and very accommodating.

Came here for an all day breakfast and boy was I happy and impressed.
Firstly I was cheerfully greeted by the counter staff.
She made me an amazing coffee and brought me iced water.
The poached eggs on sourdough with smoked salmon was Devine.
5 stars to the young girl at the counter who was Multi tasking greeting customers,taking orders and making the coffee and serving the orders to the table too and taking payments for the meals!
It's with staff like this and the quality of food which was excellent and even though the place was full not a table to spare my order arrived so fast and I received excellent service.

Great fruit and yoghurt for breakfast. Accomodating with dietary restrictions, delicious. Ok coffee, cafe hidden at the end of the arcade, backs onto a tiny park.

Brilliant Eggs Benny with a good amount of bacon and the sour dough bread was great!
Waffles are excellent and not frozen and store bought like you get elsewhere.
