City North Church

Pastor Marty graciously shared his time to do the re-wired four week course with my Son and I. We both got so much out of it and we attended City North Church today for the first time. We were warmly welcomed by many people and thoroughly enjoyed it. It has a real family vibe, just what we were after. If you have sensory difficulties Pastor Marty will discuss these with you to accommodate. We will definitely be going back!

We were very warmly welcomed when we visited this church as we passed through Hobart. I loved seeing lots of children and young people as well as some in the older generations. I sense that this congregation are truly being God's hands and feet and heart in this needy area, sharing love, showing care, and introducing people to Jesus. The word of God was preached clearly, but in language all could understand, and we were all challenged to share the good news with others. If we know God is with us we do not have to fear. I would encourage you to go along one Sunday at 10am, meet a great group of people and be introduced to Jesus. Thank you City North Church - we enjoyed worshipping with you. Lesley.

This is a thriving, growing church, which warmly welcomed us as visitors, and had more children and young people than oldies like us. I liked the simple explanation of the how John's gospel fitted into the story of the Bible. Would be happy to make this our church if we lived here. Barry.

Quite encouraged joining City North Church. I was warmly welcomed when I first arrived when people didn't know much about me. I had a number of people introduce themselves to me on the first time I arrived. I reckon if you are investigating who Jesus is or you haven't been to church for a while then you will feel and know the love of the people involved with this church. This church explains what is in the Bible quite clearly and the music is special and delightful. This church puts Jesus Christ first. There is something special and unique about this church that stands out as a light to a dark world.

There is a creche and there is another space for any child up to year 6 so your child will be cared for by responsible and screened adults. I particularly like that since I have three children.

This was a wonderful find! Warmly welcoming, bible believing and solid preaching, down to earth with a heart to see people know and grow in Christ. Thank you so much!

Lovely sense of worship and inclusivity. Low key and warm welcome. Children are clearly important as a part of the community. Highly recommended for all ages and cultural backgrounds.
