Brides with type 1 diabetes and insulin pumps this is the bridal store for you 💓 Late on this review having finally recovered from my wedding in March 2023!

Special belated thanks goes to Rhonda who made me feel welcome and seen as a bride with limited time and a permanent medical device which I needed to wear with my dress on the big day.

Rhonda was ever so inclusive and sensitive to balancing my health needs with my desire to feel comfortable and beautiful in my dress.

She designed a special pouch for my insulin pump, which was attached to my dress and concealed at the bottom of my low cut back.

It was virtually invisible except if you knew where to look. My bridesmaids helped me access the pump when required on the day.

Rhonda also did a wonderful job of taking-in my dress from many sizes too big, and let it out a little when I felt it was too tight in places.

This team are highly creative annd inclusive, and clearly love what they do. I’d recommend Strutt to anyone, especially those who don’t quite fit the ‘mould’ of the normal body.

Can’t thank you enough Rhonda, for your magical work, creativity, warmth and honesty, and to Chloe for always being so welcoming and supportive throughout the process.

After going elsewhere for my alterations and being told that any alterations would ruin my dress and they refused to do anything to it I contacted Strutt and I cannot even begin to explain how amazing they were, I'm a shy person but I honestly felt like I was with family. Rhonda helped me until I had my perfect wedding dress that I had envisioned. They are so talented, it became obvious to me the other place didn't have the time or expertise to do what I wanted with my dress (I don't think Strutt had the time either but they still helped me and made it work in time for my big day) My dying nan got to see me in the most perfect dress thanks to Strutt ❤ and I can never ever thank them enough for making me feel so beautiful as I married the love of my life.

I never do reviews but I have to let everyone know, no hesitations - best service I've ever experienced.

Just incredible… Special thank you to Helen who brought a beautiful calm energy to my first fitting, and made it feel like ‘this is actually happening’ and for the wonderful alterations she made to my dress. I am grateful to Rhonda for reminding me not to loose sight of the real reason for getting married, and Chloe had such a beautiful and vibrant energy! The most amazing service!! I was in need of some emergency wedding dress alterations (one week before my wedding) and Rhonda, Chloe and Helen went above and beyond to make sure my dress was fixed before my wedding. Genuinely kind people who made my dress feel amazing on me! 10/10 would recommend!

Dress shopping can be so daunting but Chloe at Strutt made the experience for my family and me so easy and enjoyable!

She really made us feel important and managed to find the perfect dresses for my mum, grandmother and friend to wear to my wedding!

My only regret is that I only have one event coming up so I had no reason to buy about all the gorgeous dresses i saw 😭💕

Amazing Chloe (I think her name was, sorry) was brilliant in helping me. I went in to look at getting alterations done to a ball gown and it turns out I didn't need them. So knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended!

Chloe was a superstar, so much fun and so very thoughtful helping me choose my dress. Her suggestion of something that wasn’t on my radar has ended up being the perfect dress and I haven’t felt more beautiful for a long time as I did when I put it on. As an older bride, who wanted to keep things simple, her suggestions have left me happier than I could imagine. I can not recommend Strutt Bridal and Chloe highly enough.

Rhonda and the team at Strutt Bridal are absolutely amazing and I am so glad I chose to go to Strutt to view wedding dresses. Rhonda really made sure she got to know me and the feel I was after for my wedding.
I tried on 5 dresses in total and each one got progressively better, as Rhonda was listening to my likes and dislikes about each dress. She worked within my budget and as Rhonda is also a dressmaker she was able to suggest alterations so that the dress was exactly what I wanted.
You can tell Rhonda really loves what she does and cares for her customers.
A very relaxed and fun experience and I cannot wait to continue with Rhonda for alterations over the coming months!

Amazing service and exceptional skills. Rhonda at Strutt is so kind, caring, lovely, friendly and amazing at her craft, She helped me recreate my mother's wedding dress to something more modern and she did it with ease. I threw her some curve balls by being pregnant and she was able to extend the dress out to fit my growing body, you honestly could not tell where she added in, using the fabric from the original dress, with one week before the wedding, my body did a huge grow and she was so efficient and precis to make my dress amazing for my special day. I couldn't recommend her enough, and I truely appreciate everything that she did for me, I am honestly so blessed that she was able to help me the way she did, Thank you again Rhonda, love always Jana

The wonderful team in here do alterations on your regular clothes too! I was so delighted to learn this as I live and work locally so it's really convenient. I've taken in a bunch of items and been treated so courteously and promptly even when the shop has been heaving with brides to be making their huge frock decisions! The quality of the repairs has been fabulous and really reasonably priced. The best thing about it though is that the whole team are so lovely and friendly, they make you feel like you're a friend returning for a visit and a natter! I highly recommend this business.

I have nothing but wonderful thigs to say about Rhonda and her team. Rhonda has been an absolute saint through the picking the wedding dress to the alterations. She made sure when I was picking the dress, that I had a chance to say what I liked, wanted and made sure I was heard. We ended up postponing the wedding due to covid, and in that time I fell in love with a black wedding dress. I ordered it off a website and took it to Rhonda for alterations. The dress was not of the best quality or design, but Rhonda made my black wedding dress dreams come true. In the end I wore both dresses, and this would not have been possible without the hard and wonderful work of Rhonda and her team. I highly recommend brides to come here, as Rhonda will make sure you have nothing but an outstanding dress for your wedding day.

The staff are exceptional and very knowledgeable! I had an event to go and decided 5 days beforehand that I didn’t like the dress I had chosen to wear (one I already had). I had visited several stores prior with lacklustre service and at one store was made to feel rather silly that I’d left it to the last minute. The girls were very busy but so welcoming when I popped in and explained what I was after. They didn’t have a dress in my size but gave me a dress to try that was two sizes larger that even though it was a gorgeous colour, it was rather plain and I couldn’t see how it could work? With a flick of a wrist Rhonda pinned it in, added a sleeve and a belt and promised to have my dress ready to collect the morning of the event.

The alterations were perfect and I felt like a true princess all night. I can honestly say that Rhonda and her team delivered hands down the best customer service that I have experienced in some time that I am still thinking about it two weeks later and where I can wear my beautiful beautiful dress again. Thanks so much ladies!

Rhonda was very accommodating, bubbly and friendly, she opened her business to us even if its already after business hours, not very pushy to her client,good customer service. Her wide knowledge about wedding is a big help to the bride experience of choosing the wedding dress, i enjoyed my time in her shop.
I wish she'll write the book before she switch her career to Dementia

Rhonda is an absolute gem and was so wonderful helping me shop for my wedding gown! She was full of great ideas and helped me narrow down exactly what I was looking for. Saw a great range of fab looking event dresses and bridesmaid options in the shop. She does all the alterations and can customise gowns too - the whole package! Had such a wonderful experience here.

I had a wonderful hour or so trying on different dresses for a formal. Chloe, Helen and Rhonda were all just lovely.
I sincerely have never felt so well attended while shopping and am delighted with my beautiful dress.
It needed a minor alteration which was done while I grabbed a hot chocolate.

My bridesmaids and I had a great experience today. After a rough time at another bridal store it was great going somewhere that took the time to help us and answer all of our annoying questions. Chloe gave us a good laugh and made us all feel super comfy while my girls tried on there dresses and Rhonda was lovely helping us get an idea of what we were after at the start. Go to these ladies, they will ease your stress! 💕

The best part about this bridal shop is that they allow you to take photos when you try your bridal gown, which some of the bridal shops in Tasmania don't let you do. Also, they don't charge any fees for appointments upfront. Rhonda was very professional and helpful! Highly recommend Brides go to Strutt Bridal Shop and look for their dream dress!

This is my second meeting with Rhonda, first was a bridesmaid fitting a number of years ago and now for alterations on my own wedding dress. Rhonda has a great personality and I find her very easy to get along with, she was very in tune with my feelings, specifically my anxiety about having a flat chest and it not looking the way I wanted in my dress (flat chested girl problems haha). She was very supportive and reassured me that it would look great. She provides ideas of what you may like and is very accepting of what you like or dislike. Great experience as always and I look forward to my alteration journey with Rhonda and her team.
