Bicheno Gaol House Cottages

Super cute cottage!
We stayed in 'The Stables' and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Location is fantastic, very close to any amenities you could want, walking distance to The Lobster Shack and the Bicheno Penguin Tours.
The bed was very comfortable and the electric blanket was a very welcome touch after a cold and windy day down by the ocean.
We especially loved the bottle of local fresh milk for us in the fridge!

Great character, history, ambience, facilities and location (we stayed n the gaol/watch house/ police building). Be sure to see the penguins at the end of the street, walk to Diamond Is at low tide, the blow hole and eat at the Lobster Shack.

Beautiful spot. We didn't stay but the town is lovely.

Wonderful heritage looking stay. Felt like night in the museum. Used the fire place, kids were thrilled seeing all the old Gaol stuff that were in the house. Was a little bit pricey but had peaceful night sleep.

Amazing 2 bedroom accommodation. Dining room, lounge room ( comfy couch and chair), open fire if needed and reverse cycle heating. Well equipped kitchen and tv. Bathroom facilities very quirky. Shower room in one cell and toilet and hand basin in the other cell. Great original features. Well priced and convenient to beach and shops.

Centre of town, opposite the July light show. Lovely cabins, warm, cute well equipped kitchen. Great views. Short walk to beach and shops. We had a lovely holiday, even in July.

We stayed in the stables room and it was very quaint and comfortable. we could walk to all the shops and it was a very comfortable stay, highly recommend staying here.

This was a great little find. Walking distance from everywhere.

Perfect Christmas break at Goal Cottage. Family of 4 (two teenagers). Close to everything. Great base to explore the region. Owners extremely helpful. Will definitely return. Thanks

Adorable accommodation. Good central location, clean and tidy, very cosy.

A beautiful place to stay, the Stable is very comfortable for 2 person stay, very clean and the owners are very friendly. We will be back highly recommend.

I stayed in the old police station just to let you know I think it's haunted I saw a couple of ghost in the lounge in front of the fireplace it was so cool..😎
