Leviathan Strength Gym

One of the best gyms in the state and possibly Australia. Incredible equipment, incredible staff, generous pricing and membership options. Quality events constantly and a great sense of community inside of the gym. I highly recommend Leviathan for any powerlifting, strength, strongman or general gym needs.

Honestly cannot be more thrilled to be a member of this gym. The equipment is amazing with so many options for every type of training, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The aesthetic is amazing and unlike any other gym I’ve been to. Love this place!

Seriously one of the best gyms in Australia! The facilities are top notch and the range of equipment and machines is unmatched. On top if this, there’s a super welcoming culture, friendly staff, and very high-level trainers and coaches. Highly recommend to anyone in the Hobart area with any fitness goal!

Love this gym. Best one I’ve been too. Great equipment, excellent staff and trainers, so clean, and amazing decor, love the indoor plants. My health and wellbeing has improved since going! The culture of the gym should also get a shout out….really friendly and supportive community 🙌🏽

The most welcoming, cleanest, professionally run gym I’ve ever joined. I made more progress here in six months than years in other gyms. The atmosphere always pushes me to have a good session and trainers are the best I’ve met in Tassie.

Travelling from interstate I was keen to get a good training session in. The owner is a champ and super friendly, took the time to explain about all the facilities and vast array of equipment. This gym is amazing, one of the best facilities I've been to with a tonne of specialty equipment, that caters for every element of strength training from bodybuilding, powerlifting to strongman. If you're into training in a supportive environment and with the best equipment possible. Highly recommend coming here!!

Great gym, amazing equipment, comfortable and safe atmosphere. The people and the trainers are really helpful, nice and respectful of whatever stage of your fitness journey you are in! Could not recommend enough!

I took part in the group strength classes. Our trainer Ashley was really knowledgeable and patient. As a beginner coming into weight training I found the classes really helpful to build my confidence with learning about the equipment and improving my form. Also in learning how to navigate training around injuries, and not let it be disheartening. There are lots of experienced weight lifters at the gym which can feel intimidating at first, but there is always a vibe of encouragement for new lifters too. Plus the gym has lots of really cool plants ☺

Great gym, love the atmosphere and the energy. Owner is great, always getting new equipment and making sure everything is in working order. Absolutely fantastic. 5 stars!

Absolutely amazing facilities- best gym I’ve ever been to! It has a massive range of equipment suitable for all types of gym goers. It’s got it all. It’s clean, the staff are friendly and it’s got a good vibe to it :)

Best gym if you like to pick up the heavy things! It has all the toys to play with, always in great condition. The team are friendly and expert coaches who have lifted it all themselves. Love this place!

Pricier than the standard 24-hour gym chains, but well worth it. The variety of machines, amount of space, professionalism of the crew, even the aesthetic are all top-notch. So nice to see greenery in a gym.

Leviathan has such a great atmosphere, incredibly helpful staff and very supportive members.
When moving to Tas I was on the lookout for a gym that would cater to strongman training and I was blown away by the equipment available here, I've never seen a gym like it, it's a dream to train here! It's set up in a way that it never feels overcrowded, you never have to wait in line as there are multiple stations to do the same exercises.

The gym was absolutely stunning and welcoming, my friend introduced me to it for the first time and I got a deadlift PB, equipment was top notch, plenty of space to put belongings and is a very supportive place to work out
