The Henry Jones Art Hotel

I’ll make this simple, you get 5 star service, valet parking, right in the heart of Hobart’s gorgeous dining precinct.
We stayed for two nights and our studio loft apartment was spacious, modern and equipped with everything we could want.
The bed was large and super comfortable.
It was quiet and exceeded our expectations.
We were treated like royalty and even if I tried to be fussy, I literally can’t fault the service and location. This is a premier Hotel with all the trappings. We even had a complimentary bottle of local champagne waiting for us to celebrate my wife’s birthday!!!!
Please don’t change a thing, the standard you’ve set is polished and up market and your service delivery is superb.

An excellent hotel housed partly in the factory they made Rosella jams in the 19th century. Built mostly of convict worked sandstone, the buildings showcase the history of the Hobart waterfront.
Inside the hotel houses several restaurants and a 5 star hotel.
Staff are polite and attentive.
There are several high end clothing and craft shops within the complex showcasing today's craftsmen and women, items to embellish your home.

There are no words to describe this experience. Walking in the doors you are met by friendly and happy staff so wanting to help. Then your eyes capture the architecure, the massive timber beams looking like a timber forest. You explore every level and you cannot be but inspired by the timber work and skills of ages gone bye. The artwork is amazing. Christine and I have stayed in many hotels but this is a level by itself. This is why there is a star system, It is based on this magnificent hotel. It sets the standards for others to follow. You will never encounter such a warm hearffelt experience. If you are going to Hobart look at his Hotel first, it is a magic experience. If I came back in an after life I would be a ghost wandering about their coridors. I am from NSW but on our special events, birthday, anniversary (already up to 51) I will book this Hotel. I garuante that if you want to experience a Special Event then book this Hotel. You will not be disappointed.

Great accommodation right on the waterfront and close to all the action, restaurants and attractions. Lovely conversion of an old warehouse building with nice clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Not sure I’d get the breakfast package again but we would stay here next time we visit Hobart.

We did not stay at the hotel itself but twice visited the lounge and bar at the hotel and it was absolutely excellent service.
We sat in a quite spot surrounded by beautiful art and was served on the first night by a young man who could not have been more accommodating the second night topped the first with Nicole organising tea cocktails and food to our table with effortless ease and friendliness that was without fault so 5/5 congratulations someone has chosen great staff and equiped them with great service skills many thanks
Ps on Thursday night it was quite and on Friday night they had a good jazz band in the bar to add to the ambience
Next visit we will stay here

Great rooms, great reception enjoyed are stay. Went to the bar on Monday night and had my first beer, the bar maid, was too busy talking to a fellow staff member who came in for a drink talking a clothes. Sorry, I'm not interested. I just want a beer. It took a while for her to notice us and the pair we're very loud we had to move out.

Excellent hotel, we hit up the cocktail bar and did the art tour as well.
Really nice experience. Good hotel, good breakfast.
I might just be back.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Hobart. Spacious and well-appointed rooms, coupled with the location and the high quality of service means this is a must-stay. Sam & Ross on the desk were cheerful, helpful, and professional, and Anne from room service was a gem!

I would have to say this Hotel is just the best! Everything here was just Amazing! The Staff are so helpful and smiling and answer all your question's. Loved it here and will stay again.

Staff are fabulous. Rooms are beautiful. Art is interesting. Landscape restaurant and The Long Bar are fantastic. Do the hotel tours. Stayed many times. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Hobart.

Amazing hotel, very spacious rooms, stylish interior, and extremely friendly staff. The location is also amazing and valet parking works flawlessly.

Stayed for several nights as a getaway from Brisbane. Had a great time and experience! The hotel room did not disappoint and was of great style. Kept true to its roots with modern upgrades. Everything was spot on and had a great time! It was a great location to walk around the city and get some really cool experiences!

A wonderful stay at The Henry Jones for work. From the moment I walked in, I felt looked after. The staff were accommodating and warm. The valet parking was quick to put the car away and to retrieve it. The building was interesting to walk around in. There is so much to see! The meals both in the room and the dining room were delicious. I can't wait to come back in July.

We love Hobart and the Henry Jones Art Hotel. The Hotel is located in an old jam factory, provides a lot of history and art. The rooms are of high standard, clean and provide everything you need. The staff was fantastic and the adjacent restaurants a blast. We highly recommend to go there if you are interested in this standard as well.

Great location, right by the harbour and super close to lots of restaurants and Salamanca. Excellent staff. Oh and the breakfast is delicious, especially the hot food selection.
We were upgraded to a deluxe harbour view room by Callum, which was a lovely gesture.
The hotel gym is great, and the wifi signal is very reliable throughout the hotel. In fact, the entire hotel is very nicely decorated and our room was very spacious, with a rain shower and a spa bath. Free parking outside the hotel is a bonus.

Stylish hotel along the Hobart waterfront. Lots of artwork hanging on the walls. Our loft room was very nice. It had dual air con for the upper and lower sections. The automatic blinds were nice too. We appreciated the bottle of wine while we were there over New Year’s Eve. It was a perfect location to attend all the festivities at the waterfront. The staff was courteous and helpful. I would return if visiting Hobart again.

This hotel is situated right on the harbour in Hobart. Walking distance from lots of restaurants and shops. Some rooms offering views into the harbour. I stayed in room 105 which was on level one. The bathroom was a decent size and room was spacious. (Thanks to the pillow menu, I slept well) I’d like to thank the hotel restaurant staff for catering for my picky request. I’d say this is a high end hotel for Hobart and I would stay here again and recommend to fellow traveler’s who want a comfortable and classy stay. Note parking is Valet and also FREE!

Really enjoyed our stay- a very generous Christmas gift awaited us in our room on arrival, so unexpected making us feel very much welcomed. Also on the counter is a print out of convict records of persons who share our surname, many people find they have a connection. Loved the heritage features of our room and so comfortable. You can not ask for a better location especially when the yacht race is on. All I can say is that we are going to have to work very hard to make a return stays possible.

Beautifully stylish and cozy stay. Treated ourselves to one night here and it was superb! The bar downstairs playing jazz with yummy cocktails was an extra delight. 10/10 would recommend for anyone visiting the area.
