Hobart Cat Cafe

Such a sweet place! Very kind people, A+ cats, and the food was fairly decent too! We had a lovely morning here. We got cat treats to feed the kitties with. There were a couple of old journals to page through where people had written comments and drawn pictures. By some miracle, the place didn’t even smell of cats (not that we wouldn’t have 100% understood if it had). Pablo is my favorite cat there. He’s big and friendly and very soft. It was so relaxing to be with the kitties. Lots of good toys for kids, too. Highly recommended for any car lover.

This was such a wholesome experience 🤗 a coffee shop where you can grab a bite or a drink and enjoy the kitties’ company. A great way of being in contact with animals if you can’t have your own pets or need some animal love ❤
Entry is $10/hour per person. Might be pricey if coming with a big family, but the experience is really nice. The energy and ambience is very positive and peaceful, we left feeling relaxed :)
Cats come and go at their own will , some of them approach you for a treat or just seat on your lap for a while and then go about their business. Others just spent their time sleeping or chilling in their comfy little beds, but you always end up having the chance to pet one of them :) the little containers with treats you are given on entry to the place are definitely ice breakers :)
The staff are nice and friendly, you can tell they enjoy being there!
There’s plenty of books and board games if you need some extra entertaining.

Such a fantastic experience in Hobart. Most of the cats were asleep when we went there, but we were content to sit and enjoy. You can have sine coffee and cake after you spend some time with the cats. Easy distance from city centre. Highly recommended.

Really neat place. The cats are really sweet and some are really greedy, all are very friendly as well. The food and drinks look good (but we had lunch reservations set) - the food looks properly prepared and cooked rather than just "heated up". Lovely and caring owners.

loved it here! will definitely be coming again. They have 8 beautiful cats who each have their own personalities and quirks. The waitress was absolutely lovely and service was great. Food was yummy. Quite well priced at $10 for an hour with the cats, or even cheaper at $5 if you go early morning, So good. Highly recommend for a cat fix!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit - it’s a well-run cafe and the cats are delightful. Sarah, the host, is lovely and she and her partner are very welcoming and adore their felines. They are all rescue cats. I’d love to go again but I’m only here for a short time in Hobart. The food is nice too.

My partner and I came here because we are on holiday and missing our cats terribly. This was a friendly and casual space and we had a lovely visit. The coffee was amazing and we had freshly baked biscuits which were divine. The cats were all pretty chill and seemed up for a pat. I spent half an hour with a snoozy cat in my lap which is just what I needed.

Beautiful place with gorgeous and very friendly cats. No strong smell of cat despite having so many cats in a room! Love the food served and the kitties were quite social and enjoyed the treats we can feed them with given by the staff. They’re used to social interactions and enjoy getting the scratches and rubs. Great accessibility with 1hr parking just outside. Staff are very friendly and bonded strongly with the cats. Would def recommend this place to everyone who love cats! Will look forward to coming again next time.

Super friendly and active cat. Very friendly and beautiful store manager. 🤣Early bird session is recommended because there are few customers, active cats and half price. Everyone can get a free meow food to attract cats. 😂

A beautiful, relaxing experience. The cats are so well cared for and you can tell they are content. Brunch and coffee were great.

Started our Hobart trip at this lovely place and had a fantastic time with Pablo especially. Super friendly cats that aren’t afraid of people — basically dogs inside of cats!

Staff were super friendly, even giving us a little cat treats to win the cats over quicker. The nutella mocha is a must have also!

Highly recommend doing the early bird for $5 tickets. Love u Pablo!!

We went at around 11:30am on a Thursday and i found $10 for entry with no time limit to be a bargain (keep in mind if you go on a busier day they might limit your time). The cats were all lovely and content, with some accepting plenty of cuddles (Pablo) and others having bundles of energy to play (Motley)! The staff were friendly and it was a great atmosphere. My only advice would be to go in the morning, as nearing 2pm the cats were getting sleepy and we didn't want to wake them, of course.

A wonderful first time experience at a Cat Cafe! The food was delicious with excellent presentation! All of the cats are very friendly and very playful! Staff are attentive and helpful. Definitely recommended!

If you love cats you’ll love this cat café. 1 hour with the cats was pure bliss. They are all super friendly and loving cats. The owners are absolutely divine people and the coffee and breakfast were delicious!

Cats are wonderful and cute the owner is hands on and helpful. The price being reduced to $5 is a really nice addition because it really adds up if you are with multiple people at the old price of 10$. Food is just average but serving is often quick and prepared nicely.

Had a lovely time in the cat cafe with some feline friends and enjoyed nice food and coffee to go with it.

Coffee was amazing and the cats are very cute and happy. The owners look after the cats beautifully. It was such a relaxing experience. If you like cats, I highly recommend.

Happy place in Hobart :) if you are visiting Tasmania or are a local! You have to visit this cafe ! This is Hobarts best cafe and I believe the first cat cafe there :) The owners are very welcoming and friendly and so are the beautiful cats :)

We visited the cafe with my wife and had a lovely breakfast surrounded by well, as you'd expect it, cats! I read some comments and people complaining about cats not being friendly but let me tell you guys, cats can read people and if they don't like you I trust the cats better 😉. Jokes aside, we had an amazing time and if you think $10 is too expensive you can just wake up a bit early and try the early bird discounted prize ($5 per person) as we did it.
