Really reasonably priced and laid back sake bar with an excellent choice of sake and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Also great Japanese tapas. During the day it operates as as an affordable sushi train which converts to a bar after 9pm.

Highly recommend - great atmosphere, attentive friendly staff that are seriously knowledgeable about their large drink menu with extra information to share, tasty food (notably the yakitori, takoyaki and yuzu sorbet) and be sure to check out the bathroom too! I’ll be back to make my way through the saké list.

Attended a saké + spirits tasting ticketed event ‘The Spirits of Japan’ during Dark MOFO, shared a flight of 8 between two plus a few plates of food. Flights are customisable according to your preferred tasting notes so I said my usual preference is sweet and fruity, excellent choices selected for me including interesting options like warmed junmai, ‘nota bozu’ flavoured and coloured with charred bamboo, sweet peachy sparkling ‘ozeki hana fugu’, and plum liqueur ‘nakata kokuto umeshu’ with black sugar. It’s rare that I feel like I’ve learned something whilst having fun out for drinks, but they’ve done it!

Great place, food and drinks were amazing. Knowledgeable service staff that helped us pick out some tasty sake to sample.
