This place is so cute. Multiple spaces to sit and enjoy your visit. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend the hash brown fries!
The bathroom was even a cute space. Coffee was great.

Cute cozy cafe with friendly staff and fabulous food, chai tea and coffees.
The cheese was very tasty and the sauce made the burek unforgettable.
It was so, so good, we visited multiple times on our short sojourn in Hobart.

It's such a cute little cafe. Set up really well. The staff are lovely. The lentil salad was fresh and yummy and my almond mocha tasted great as well. Definitely check this cafe out. 🙂

Such a cozy, hideaway cafe with some of Hobart's best coffee and lovely little treats. Always walked past it but first time going inside, it is very spacious with plenty of seating and couches for a relaxing break from the city. If you're lucky enough to try the Medovik (honey cake), it is well worth it as it is such a treat. Among the other assortment of home baked goodies

Really cute place for breakfast. Good coffee, excellent scrambled eggs, mushroom and spinach were cooked to perfection. My daughter loved the hash brown chips with relish. Service was quick and friendly, definitely worth a visit.

dropped in for a hot chocolate and cake. Didnt disappoint. Service was super quick. Friand and cookie were tasty and fresh. Loads of seating in this cozy little cafe. The staff knew the names of many of their regulars who came by and there was a constant steam of customers coming through the door while we were there. Another customer ordered the smashed avo and poached eggs which were presented nicely and eaten quickly! Would definitely recommend this cafe as staff were super friendly, food was tasty, nice and well priced.

A wonderful place, I had my breakfast in with my girls, perfect meal to start the day, lovely customer service, and an amazing sitting upstairs.

Been going to Island Espresso for years. This is the original coffee shop that got me hooked on proper coffee! Magnificent retro cool building with a chill out lounge upstairs, an outdoor seating area out the back - making the most of the space. But then there's the food - wow! This family have owned the business since 1999 and they all work very hard to provide the best quality range of cooked breakfast and lunch meals that you will find anywhere, and very well priced. Then there's the Zimmah coffee (which is owned by the same family). The girls are absolutely specialists in the art of making an excellent coffee, the consistency is outstanding. Definitely worth a 5 min walk up from the city. I am fortunate it is only a couple of minutes walk from my work. I suggest you check out this little gem - you won't be disappointed!

Friendly staff serving nice food and good coffee. Nice for a little lunch, and the space worked well. The iced coffee went down quite well on a warm Hobart day! The Haloumi burger came with generous slabs of cheese and was pretty tasty too!!

Had an interesting meal and coffee. Note it is small inside. Has a nice upstairs, but the staircase is a little cramped if you are oversized.

Gorgeous little coffee shop in Elizabeth Street. Very 'old world' atmosphere. Great priced cakes and wraps, etc
