Mövenpick Hotel Hobart

We loved our stay at the Mövenpick. Location was great staff are really friendly and the chocolate hour is a nice touch. The valet service is good although more detailed instructions on first accessing it would be good as this was initially confusing. Also it does take 20 minutes notice to get your vehicle so that needs to be factored in. As well as it can get busy out front so you may be parking in the bus Zone while you go in to return your car which was unsettling to begin with but the staff were instructing this.

From arrival to departure the staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome.
The room was beautiful decorated and the view was fantastic, overlooking the water.
The valet service was great.

The service was excellent! When I arrived at the hotel after a long hour flying I was greeted by a really pleasant gentleman at the front desk named Vidula . He helped me to spend my six days stay at the hotel. Room and atmosphere Very peaceful and tidy and team was Very supportive and friendly. Thank you for the gracious hospitality and making my short stay there memorable!!!

This Hotel has had a huge turnover of staff in the last 18 months but still manages to hold its high standards in both rooms/food/service and attentive staff. Gone are the Breakfasts till 4pm and the senior management visibility which was a great plus for this hotel. For first time visitors to Hobart your search for a central city hotel you need look no further

Loved the experience. Situated in the heart of city, its a wonderful place to stay. Close to many amenities. Very accommodating and hospitality at its peak. They have options for upgrading the room at a reasonable price and car parking also available at 35 dollars per day, just that you have to inform 20- 30 minutes before your intended time of departure. The food is also great and reasonably priced. There is complementary chocolate hour too. The hotel rooms are neat with clean up service available. Overall a wonderful place

My wife and I spent 4 nights - and it was one of the best experiences we've had staying at hotels anywhere in the world. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the reception staff, advised that all our room requests were full satisfied. Everything was 'as advertised' - clean rooms, well-maintained facilities, lovely food, amazing chocolates, friendly and helpful staff, centrally located. What else do you need?

Our double queen room on 15th floor was superb with stunning views of the bridge and port. Our check in was a bad experience but everything else was great. The restaurant is 10x better than I expected as I don’t eat pasta and pizza- it was so much more than that. The breakfast was a standout. I was given a bottle of sparkling wine and a card for my birthday. The chocolate hour was a special treat each afternoon if you were around but we were mostly out as there is so much to see and do in Hobart. This hotel is in a prime location. I was told the hotel is only 3 years old which is why everything is clean and modern. I highly recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel feels like new and smells fresh and clean. Staff were great and super friendly. We even got to check in extra early as we are on an early flight to Hobart. Room is spacious, clean, and the bed is super comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast! we liked that they have hot plates included in their breakfast menu and loved their bread and pastries all nice and freshly baked.

Ticks all the boxes and some. Great location within walking distance of many Hobart attractions. Highly recommend using the hotel valet if you are driving and need to park your car as the price for a night is not much more than parking yourself overnight. Checking in and out was seamless although our room was not quite ready at the 2pm check in time, the staff was kind enough to offer some welcome drinks for the very minor inconvenience. Room were spacious and well equipped. The modern decor made it look and feel more luxurious than its price point and the floor to ceiling windows framing the gorgeous view of the mountains and harbour just elevated the whole experience. The gym though small was decently equipped.
The restaurant staff were really attentive and seemed like they really loved their jobs which made the experience extra pleasant. Kids had free ice cream anytime and the chocolate happy hour in the afternoons were an added bonus. Will definitely stay here again when I'm back in Hobart.

We had a great stay at your hotel. The staff are always happy; friendly and willing to assist you with anything. Our room had an amazing view of the port.

By far the best Accor/ ALL accommodation I have ever stayed in. There is not one thing I can speak negatively of. Rooms are clean and spacious and the views fantastic. The hotel is extremely central with everything at your door step. Every single staff member I have encountered from front desk, cleaners, wait staff to valet are all so friendly, approachable and positive with fantastic time management, (shout out to all the staff who are all so level headed and calm during those busier times). Please commend all your staff on making my trip and no doubt others, so wonderful. A special shout out to Mateo in valet who helped me figure out why the fob on my rental car would not work. He made what could be a really stressful time after a long day, so much easier to handle.

From check in to checkout all staff were friendly, polite, helpful and professional. Room was a great design, comfortable bed AND had a bath! Loved our daily breakfast with buffet choice and then cooked to order hot breakfast. Bonus evening drink, late checkout and $20 spend with Luxury Escapes booking. Right in the centre of town. Easy walk to Salamanca, the harbour and shopping a dining. Would absolutely stay again. PS chocolate hour is a "sweet" add on 3:30 daily

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with you. Everything about the hotel is great, the location, the staff, the restaurant and the accommodation. Our room was very clean, modern and comfortable..and the view from our room was amazing! All of the staff there are fantastic! And the food is AMAZING!
Will absolutely come back and stay again!

Excellent place, location and service. What a stay. One of my best experiences in a hotel stay ever. Staff were excellent at meeting your needs and requirements. Lovely breakfast every day and free drinks in the afternoon. Location is also fantastic near all the shops and city landmarks. No need for a car. Just walk everywhere. Highly recommend movenpick Hobart.

From the initial check-in to check-out the staff were friendly, kind, professional & ready to ensure our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. We also would like to say a huge "Thank you" to Carlos and his Team in the Tesoro Restaurant. Our room was immaculate and we enjoyed our city view aspect as the afternoon sun streamlined and warmed our room naturally. All in all, it was a great experience ....Thank you.

Great clean fresh well located hotel, we had a twin room but the beds were only 6 inches apart (we both snore) we did a bit of furniture changing to suit.
Nespresso machine and coffee pods a nice touch.
We had the breakfast buffet and everything was good except the do it yourself coffee machine was not working as it should.
The chocolate hour was a bonus

This was a fantastic hotel. Modern. Immaculately clean. Bed was like a cloud. Large room. Service wonderful. Location was easy walking distance to the pier and to markets, hop on hop off bus, historical buildings, Woolies. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Loved the breakfast. Only thing is I need a drivers licence for the coffee machine- I just ordered one from the bar. A great experience.

Stayed at this lovely hotel on business trip to Hobart. The check-in was quick and service is excellent. The breakfast is delicious with a variety of food to choose from. I enjoyed the aged cheddar and pickled onions. The hotel has perfect location to explore beautiful Hobart.

We had a great holiday experience. Everything from the hotel location, presentation, services friendliness and cleanliness were great. The only little inconvenience was the lack of onsite parking facilities which requires us to do a little planning of our itinerary and working around the hours of street parking enforcement. Valet parking is available however is still less convenient than having a dedicated carpark to come and go as you please without having to wait.

We visited Movenpick in Hobart for our wedding anniversary from the Gold Coast. The hotel staff were exceptional and made us feel very valued at every interaction. Valet parking service is great and very reasonable. The rooms and housekeeping team are a high standard. The restaurant bar and were lovely and food was beautiful. Great central location and rooms were very quiet. We stayed 2 nights then returned again for another night before we left Hobart for home . We will stay again on our travels to Hobart.
