Midori Japanese Kitchen Sandy Bay

The food was excellent and the atmosphere was very kid friendly with a cat robot acting as a waiter. Although, the wait was quite long. It took about 45 minutes to get our food. If you have a lot of time on your hands, I would recommend this restaurant.

We had some great sushi here. It was tasty, good value, and they had plenty to choose from on a Saturday arvo when everything else was closed.

Delicious ramen at a good price point! I recommend adding more egg… soo goooood 😎. Vegetarian ramen is very nice. Loved the cute robot 🤖

We always go to the one in North Hobart, but this one is closer to our house. The food and the service are always really good! Specially for the price!

Big portion and fantastic

Popped in for a quick dinner for our first night in Hobart (after 20 hours of flying) - we were not disappointed. The staff were happy to sit us in with only 30 minutes before kitchen close.

My partner had a ramen, and I had a variety of gyoza, yakitori chicken and prawn. The food was great!

The price was so reasonable - you would pay a lot more for these items in Perth or any other city I’m sure. A really attractive part of the restaurant.

Will be coming again next time we’re in town :)

Amazing place! Extremely family friendly, and the robotic cat waiter is su h a great touch. The kids loved it! Food was super fresh, and the Spicy Miso Ramen was one of the best ramens I've ever had. Will definitely be returning, even if it's tonight for dinner. Didnt have a bad dish here, highly recommend!

spicy beef rice noodle is sp nice as well as those little snacks. Definitely worth coming!

Tasty food at a reasonable price. We ate here a few times while we were staying in Sandy Bay and almost everything we ate was delicious. The staff (including the cute robot assistant 🤖) were also very helpful.

No matter where you go Madori has great food. Always fresh.

Had dinner here one night. Salmon Aburi & the chicken bao buns were fantastic. Robot service adds a bit of novelty. Restaurant was warm on a cold night & food was great.

Yes, this is the only one in the greater Hobart area. Worth to check it out. 15.8$ with a generous portion of beef and rice noodles (I couldn' have them all, will ask for smaller portion next time).

My friends and I frequently choose Midori over any other food business in Sandy Bay because the food is amazing, there is friendly service and a cute robot waitress. Everything is very well priced and there is a fantastic range.

I love it here. Very good fresh food. Great service and the meal is served very quickly. Also a great variety and very economical. I have eaten most things on the menu and all have been excellent.
