Ok, so we all know Melbourne is known for amazing coffee places. On holiday, it can be so hard to find a place that is “as good as home”. Well, here it is!

A hidden gem on the mall. You might walk past this treasure, completely unaware of it as it is unobtrusive and not exactly easy to spot.

The coffee is superb, and the food presented simply… in other words ‘comfort food’.

Frequented by regulars and being waited on in a friendly manner - the proprietor is up for a chat and eager to please.

Our last coffee stop in Tassie, and it seems as though we unwittingly saved the best for last.

A rare find in the heart of the city. Beaujangles checks all the boxes of our favorite cafe in town: good coffee, decent food and delightful service. The timeless decor has the right amount of character that’s inviting and cozy. Menu offers a variety of hearty dishes and finger foods. Can’t recommend a better spot to hang out with mates in a sunny arvo sharing a warm lemon citrus cake and one scone.

Food is literally amazing, big and perfect portion sizes. All dish’s are good price for how much food they served. Rare find.

Best named cafe ever. The only reason I can’t give 6 stars, apart from the fact you can’t, is that you put grated carrot on breakfast dishes, which is not legal.

Great little Cafe in the mall. Creamy, flavourful coffee and omlettes were yummy! Service was bang on.

Excellent Breakfast at a very reasonable price, Very small shopfront in the middle of the mall, but shop is quiet deep, with quiet a few tables inside and tables outside when weather is ideal. Staff very helpful and attentive.

Best chocolate I've head in my life. Super creamy, hot and with yummy chocolate parts on top.
I was greeted as soon as I walked in, great service, very nice atmosphere. Place was a bit busy but not loud in any way --> perfect acoustics.
I can only recommend the caramel slice - so yum!

Excellent place, they have a lot of option for nibbles, breakfast, lunch. Located right in the CBD, right spot to take a break after shopping. Coffee and staff really nice and attentive too.

My partner and I went to Hobart in the early July for the first time. On our first day we saw this cafe and was interested to give it a try. Boy oh boy we agree that this was one of the best cafe we've tried in Hobart ever. The atmosphere was amazing and the staffs were all great! We both tried the eggs benedict as recommended by the kind owner of the cafe and we were not disappointed. The coffee were great too! Definitely coming back the next time we visit Hobart for the 2nd time

Bought the most enormous, delicious savoury muffin. Great price and fast service.
