Jo Mercer

Visited Jo Mercer on New Years Day and this shop in Pacific Fair is now my go to shoe store! Absolutely beautiful, quality shoes that not only look great but are wonderfully comfortable.
To top it off the staff are wonderful, incredibly helpful and patient without being pushy.
Definitely going back!

Have had previous experience with Jo Mercer at Pacific Fair and been very pleased with both service and staff but particularly with quality of shoes and bags.
As I usually have to use orthotics and have a narrow foot I can usually find some smart flat shoes and sandals with a soft leather padded lining that are comfortable particularly when an additional gel insert is added for my particular needs. In my experience Jo Mercer is quite unique in what is offered in this respect. Not only this have just bought a beautiful leather shoulder handbag from them which is very light to carry whilst being roomy and comfortable so all in all I am one happy customer.

The sort of service you don't always expect when shopping on a Sunday. Carol did a brilliant job of helping me find shoes to meet my needs. She gave recommendations and gave me good reason to buy the same shoes in a leopard print. I wasn't intending too but I love them and her recommendations.

Lovely shoes. Joe Mercer makes good all round, basic, classical styles and colours that compliment any wardrobe. They also sell handbag and clutches to match their shoes range. Their shoes and bags are quite reasonably priced and they also have great sales, so you can pick up a bargain every now and then. The Pacific Fair Joe Mercer store is well set out and the staff here are always helpful, assisting you with sizes and Iooking for stock in other locations. I adore shoes and have had nothing but positive experiences purchasing both instore and online with Joe Mercer

the staff are great, knowlegeable and patient..
They didn't pressure me at all when choosing and fitting pairs of shoes even when i went in to the store 10min before closing time..
Instead they assisted me and shared their views even when it was passed their working hours..

Appalling quality. Purchased a pair of sandals for $240 and the leather around the sole started to peel away. After 6 months they looked awful. The manager at Pacific Fair deemed that this is "wear and tear" and is probably due to me "driving with them on." Yes, I do drive with them on as there was no disclaimer saying I shouldn't. I will never set foot in this store again. There are several other shoe shops with similar styles, far superior quality and better after-sales service. Don't waste your money.

I would give 0 stars if it was possible, they don't deserve even 1 star. I have been a customer of Jo Mercer for years and bought hundreds of pairs of shoes from them, some were comfortable, some were not. Two weeks ago I bought a pair of sandals. They started falling apart at the seams after two times wearing them. Today I brought them back to get a refund. I was told that they cannot give me my money back, as this was a sale item and it wad a cosmetic issue, not a structural fault. The manager Vicky was absolutely useless in helping me. They told me that the shoes will be repaired at mister minute. I was left with no other option but to leave my shoes there for them to repair and requested for the shoes to be sent to my home address.

So be mindful that if anything happens to your shoes, these cheapskates will only offer to repair after you have spent hundreds of dollars on those shoes.

I definitely will not buy from these cheapskates anymore. I hope karma reaches them asap.

Unfortunately have to echo a review made only 5days ago - that the two ladies who were working tonight (Thurs 2nd March) pretended I didn't exist when I arrived as the only customer, 1 was superficially helpful by getting a pair of shoes for me although the face of boredom spoke bigger volumes. Felt like I was an annoyance, not an ounce of customer service. A real shame I didn't feel welcome as while my shoes did not fit I was really hunting for Jo Mercer specifically & probably would have bought something else.. but left empty handed instead.

If you have a chance to see this review, don’t buy anything from this store!! I bought a nice pair of sandals, used it twice and the gold was rubbing off. I came to the store to see what they could do for me, as it was a $200 shoes and you don’t expect that to happen. They said I couldn’t return it because I used it 😅 $200 in the bin. No quality at all.

Shoes don't last long for the expensive price you pay. The customer service is outrageous.
