Cafe Madeleine

Amazing breakfast at this cafe. Lovely music, cool ambience and delicious food. I had ordered french toast, salmon & eggs and belgian chocolate milkshake...yummy !!!

I had an amazing time at this Cafè and love that it has the same name as me with a little different spelling! I have a French background and this place was just incredible to me!! The portion was amazing and love that you can buy their home-made things to take home!! A definite must-see when in Leura or even when you drive through!! I will be recommending it to everyone!!!

We been here three times and it doesn't disappoint, it's always busy but food is served fast. Our first visit here 3.5 yrs ago was before our stay at Lake Lyall and while having the most beautiful Chocolate cake, my wife's water broke so we had to leave in a rush and cancelled our stay @ Lake Lyall. We had to drive back home to Sydney for 2 hours then straight to the hospital. Yesterday we were back with our 3.5 yr old son and our 2.5 yr old daughter.

The food here is consistently delicious. Try the soup of the day and bread and butter pudding with ice cream. Their coffee is great and they have a delicious shop brewed chai tea with honey in a serving jar. Inside seating as well as outside if you are there when the sun’s shining.

Do you want to get a lovely dessert enhanced by locally made Josophan Chocolate?! Well here is the place! Try the hot chocolate and the strawberries dipped on molten Josophan Chocolate (only dark available?)
Cramped eating space and very busy in peak times but well worth the visit while in Leura!
One of my faviurites! Don't forget to go up the street and load up on Josophan Chocolate to take home!!

Came here after hiking for the day in the blue mountains: warm atmosphere, delicious chocolate desserts and a great selection of tea. The menu in general makes your mouth water!

Awesome chocolate! Welcomed in, even 15 mins before closing, which is a pleasant experience for a mountains cafe. Mexican chocolate cake is luscious.
