La Carta Art Gallery Cafe

Really lovely coffee. Dark roast flavour without being bitter or too acidic. Teamed with a freshly made scone with generous servings of strawberry jam and cream. The gentleman who served us has the kindest smile. Really appreciated the warmth of the welcome in this little cafe. Will return again!

Went with my hubby on the way home from Port Macquarie. Lovely & ultra nice owner couple. The fruit crepe was yummy although it's not on the menu. Overheard from the lady sitting next to us & ordered one, freshly made and tasted very nice with strawberries, blueberries, whipped cream & ice cream.
Coffees and food are excellent & good price too. Sitting there just like sitting in an art gallery, Ohhhhh...What a lovely brunch & an enjoyable time. Will definitely go again & visit the wonderful couple.

We absolutely love the amazing home cooked food at La Carta and the walls are adorned with some incredible art, but the cafe's biggest assets are Silvana and Robert. Popping in for a coffee or meal is really just an excuse to see them. Their genuine warmth and friendliness is what makes La Carta such a wonderful place to be, it doesn't feel like you are in a cafe, it feels like you are in Silvana and Robert's home. I can highly recommend their cafe.

Sylvana & Roberto offer beautiful home-made Italian food. The antipasto platter is one of my favourites. Combining their love & knowledge of Italian food with their love of handcrafted visual art & decor. It is a much needed food place, brightening up the local food scene. Their customer service is second to none. Beautiful couple & beautiful food made from the heart.

Update - We ordered chicken cacciatore for take away. It was a hearty, delicious meal but not too heavy :)
