Cafe F3 Northbound

Ok, so you have to stop and rejuvenate and you pop your head in at Oliver’s but your wallet has a coronary when you see the prices, what do you do? Just walk across to the F3 Cafe and you’ll find food just as fresh and healthy but at a much cheaper cost. I worked out is about 20% cheaper and just as healthy. I had a banana and strawberry smoothie and a roast lamb wrap. Awesome!! All made on the spot, no microwaving, lamb sliced off the leg while you wait, best wrap you can get and at a real decent price. The girl who served me today was super friendly and explained some of the food options really well. Highly recommended.

The Caesar salad is amazing, so fresh & consistent. The chicken isn’t dry & the dressing is really yummy. I’ve been a few times over the last 4 years and every time I’ve had it it’s been amazing. The staff are lovely too 😃

To be completely honest, I'm very confused with most of the previous reviews. I was there last night for the first time and I'd happily drive an hour and a half (I'm from western Sydney) just to go and eat at Cafe F3. The staff are super friendly and the food was absolutely spectacular. I had a beef roast dinner and it was one of the greatest roasts I've had in a long time. Jo the supervisor's hospitality was amazing and was very appreciated. I work in hospitality as a supervisor as well and I definitely thought F3 was outstanding. The service and food were both 5/5. Well done, Cafe F3! Definitely will come back soon!

We have stopped here several times on trips to the Central Coast. As usual the service is excellent, the food excellent and the staff very helpful. A special thank you to Actually Tegan who served us and not her sister Not-Tegan. Some people write derogatory reviews of the Cafe F3 but we have never had any problems. Perhaps a little patience from some customers would help.

Dodge maccas and olivers and head straight here! Their food is really good, I had the seafood basket and was really impressed although expectations were low.
Staff are super friendly too and will have a laugh.

I told the young man how i felt he said with wide eyes US has big burgers I told him big is not flavor this is FLAVOR AND JUICY
My sadness is I live in Brisbane And there are no Cafe F3s there.

Excellent service centre. Placed roughly halfway between Sydney and Newcastle on the M1 Motorway.
Plenty of food options including McDonald's and sit down restaurant with a great selection of home cooked style meals.
Caltex service station for both heavy vehicle and the general public.
Highly recommended for that break in travel northbound 24/7

This morning we decided to head into F3 Cafe for lunch to support our local business. We got 2 steak sandwichs and they were amazing. Love to see how busy they were during these rough times.

Above and beyond service, for oir Daughter with total synthetic allergies, Staff went way out in their care and preparation of our daughters meal. Also service to many other customers never faltered. Food was incredible ser ice was even better.

Ordered a steak sandwich with the lot and it was an absolute beaut. Chips were very nice as well. The staff were efficient and fast during the lunchtime rush. Would recommend.

This café is in a very handy location just out of Sydney. It's our go-to breakfast stop whenever we are travelling up north. The coffee is good and so are their toasties. We refuel the car at Caltex and oursleves here ready for our long drive up the coast. The staff are always nice.

There genuinely comes a time in a man's life when the need to indulge in a sit down meal mid way through lifestyle torturous journey up the old F3 freeway becomes the only solace he can look forward to.

From the cheery sound of a grand piano to the fancy table service, the Café F3 will not stop to delight the weary traveller with its quaint charm.

I ordered the roast of the day, and was pleasantly surprised with the tenderness of the pork; it came apart like Liberal politician when pressed on climate change, or raising the newstart allowance. Coupled with some garden fresh peas and carrot, expertly salted, and finished with a potato au gratan, I never knew that heaven existed on earth.

If it was possible to rate this 7 stars I would.

Food is pretty consistent quality and reasonably priced. Some staff don't look super efficient but they get the job done

It’s a great place to have your breakfast if you drive to Newcastle, just be realistic about where you are and what this place is!
