Usui Café

We came across this warm and beautiful cafe on our trip to the entrance. It is a great breakfast place for families. The cafe has books to read for all ages and the food is amazing quality. The staff is very friendly and can cater to your needs. Definitely recommend this cafe if your looking for a good breakfast spot.

The food was good. I enjoyed their fish and crispy chips, the tartar sauce was really good. The chicken katsu burger was also nice, the chicken was well seasoned and had a thin, flavorful crumb. It’s a lovely spot for a meal, especially since they have dog-friendly outdoor seating. The staff were very friendly and even filled up water for my dog.

We had breakfast here: the Belgian waffle special and the eggs benny. The waffles were lovely, particularly the combination of maple and berry compote, it was gorgeous.
Partner had the eggs benny; said they were really nice, if she had to nit pick there was maybe too much hollandaise and the mushrooms she had on it needed seasoning more.
Coffee was lovely, partner's yuzu mojito was really nice and refreshing.
Good value for money and the staff were very good. Looked nice inside, but we sat out as it was sunny; only downside there being the proximity to the road.

The Usui Cafe is located on Marine Parade, The Entrance, just across the road from Memorial Park. It has outdoor seating which is good if you have a dog.
The food is great and the service is efficient and friendly. The council carpark is close and street parking is available.

Beautiful little cafe in a side street, yet in the heart of The Entrance. Very friendly, attentive staff, meals perfect & no trouble to change/ add to your taste. Even have water bowls for dogs & birds (outside). A lovely morning.

Absolutely charming café with a cozy atmosphere, beautiful art, and comfortable seating overlooking the beach. The coffee here packs a punch - it’s wonderfully strong and absolutely fantastic. A must-visit spot for coffee lovers seeking a delightful experience.

We were staying within walking distance from Usui. We kept it simple - 4 chicken katsu burgers and a large bowl of chips. THE BEST BURGERS EVER. Holy smokes. The chicken was crispy, the salad was fresh, the buns soft and the sauces sweet and creamy! We are here for two more days, so expect to be going back both days. Strongly recommend grabbing one of these burgers. Amazing.

Service was very friendly, wasn’t too busy, food came out quickly and was very good. Prices seem reasonable too considering the vacationer nature of the area.

I’d recommend Usui Cafe if you’re in the area.

Cafe is opposite the Memorial Park car park.

We were looking for somewhere to enjoy a nice morning breakfast 🍳…

And we found this little gem!

Amazing hospitality and plenty to choose from sushi cafe offers a range of delicious breakfasts , lunches and beverages for all tastebuds.

We enjoyed sitting outside by the beach and eating some eggs and bacon along with a delicious burger and a really really tasty coffee.

I was well served by a young lady there and the team brought out our orders exactly how we wanted it with no mistakes at all.

Mmmmm…. I want one again ! Im not a expert in coffee but I do appreciate a quality coffee from time to time and this cafe delivered the goods.

You won’t pay too much either for a meal 10-15$ roughly and you will receive a quality meal to enjoy.

Great Cafe. Worth the extra little walk away from the mall. The food is magnificent. I ordered fried eggs on toast with some sides, and generous servings meant that you would think they were the main with the eggs as sides.

I had the Yuzu Mohito which was non-alcoholic with iced tea. It was extraordinarily delicious.

Those who live sausages might be disappointed that they are not a side option, but I love sausages with my cooked breakfast and didn't miss them. I did miss that there wasn't lime milkshakes, but the yuzu lime mohito made up for any loss I might have felt.

Staff are super friendly and helpful. Option of dining in or out on street side (which on any not raining or bitterly cold day) is excellent.

They also have a range of awesome baked sour dough beads from Somersby. The pieces that I had with my breakfast, and they were about 1.5cm-2cm thick suggest that bread lovers should check these out as well.

All staff are so welcoming and helpful. Great menu & food was amazing, I ordered extra bacon and the amount they gave was very generous & they also gave us some extra eggs! Really great atmosphere, I will definitely be back 🥰

Great little cafe, I can definitely recommend it for a breakfast stop! The bacon and egg rolls were great with a super soft bun and perfectly cooked ingredients and the coffee was nice too. The staff were also quick when we arrived, super accommodating to our party including kids and just all around really nice. Great customer experience 🙂

Very delicious cafe style food with a Japanese twist. We ordered the Chicken Japanese Katsu Burger, Scotch Fillet Sando (Steak Sandwich), Yuzu Mojito and Aqua Fresca (In-house Watermelon, mint and lime soda).

The Japanese Katsu Burger was super crispy and absolutely delicious. The Yuzu Mojito and Aqua Fresca were very refreshing on a hot summers day.

The cafe has very nice decor and ambience, providing a very relaxing meal. Customer service was excellent and served with a smile, being a family owned business.

The cafe is a short walk from the Esplanade but well worth, being away from the noise and crowds.

Fantastic Cafe, the food and service was impeccable. We stopped here on our way to Wyong and were greeted by the friendly staff at the door. Our order was brought to the table in such a short time we were both surprised how good the service was. I loved the coffee here and there was so many options for my coffee fix. I loved the atmosphere and artwork. Even the music was a sensible volume with a nice beach summer vibe play list. I loved the smell of their coffee in the air. Would 100% recommend!

What a lovely gallery & cafe with lots of charm! I had Egg Benedict with sesame bread & smoked salmon, which was super delicious! OMG frappe(orange, mix berries, ginger root frappe) was also nice and I love it! There is nice outside seating on the street. Highly recommended.

Got takeaway drinks- quick service and the best chai latte ever. Perfect amount of spicy and not sickeningly sweet like so many are. Wish I lived nearer to this cafe so I could get one every day.

It's a cute and lovely cafe, we had breakfast there this morning and were so impressed with their food and servic. We highly recommend it.
