Ocean Chinese Restaurant The Entrance

I've been coming to this restaurant since I was five (now 17) and I kid you not, they never disappoint. Highly recommend the short soup, special fried rice and lemon chick. The service as well is so friendly. If youre looking for a good chinese spot, definitely come here.

We had a really enjoyable meal here while on holiday. Really delicious food, generous portions and not too oily. Highly recommended.

Came here whilst on holidays and even tho the restaurant doesn’t look too flash, the food was absolutely amazing.

Sweet little Chinese shop. Delicious food. We ordered combination wonton soup, spring rolls, San cho bow, honey chicken, and special fried rice. All immaculately cooked.

Laurie and Trish Kennedy of the entrance did a pick up, The prawn dish, satay king prawns the best I've ever had. Also Szechwan chicken was excellent. 👏👏👏

Had a feed with my Mrs after a day trip from Sydney. Dined in. Food tasted great, portions were generous with lots of meat. The price was very reasonable. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely would recommend

Hard to find a good Chinese Restaurant these days, very rare. The reviews here are genuine. After eating here tonight i cant wait to try the rest of the menu. Would drive suburbs to get to this Restaurant. Old school Chinese recipes Ausralians fell in love with years ago.

We went down memory lane with this place, & it was still fantastic. One of the things I loved the most, was it's "old skool" decor, it felt like a warm hug you missed. The food was wonderful, we had Short soup, Spring rolls, Friend rice & Chilli beef, & it was so nice to get a real chilli beef full of beef etc instead of the sad examples of chilli beef you get in Sydney. Service was awesome, polite & unrushed. Looking forward to our next visit

The food was really good "old school" Chinese. The venue is also what you would picture when you think of old fashioned Chinese restaurant.
The waitress was amazing, she really made our night. Was helpful with being able to tell you what exactly was in each dish and able to suggest different options to suit our tastes.
The restaurant appears to do mostly take away but do yourself a favor and eat in. Your guaranteed to have an awesome meal. BYO.

Very fussy with my Chinese, was looking around for ages and ending up choosing this one and sooo glad I did! Oh my, best Chinese I have had in a VERY long time. Full of flavour, hot, fresh and came so quickly. Yummo!! My new favourite place for Chinese

The combination noodle dish I had was really good. All the meats were soft and cooked perfect, not chewy like some places. Everything was fresh and very tasty. I'd eat from there again

As two big guys who have eaten a LOT of Chinese meals, we struggled to recall a better meal than we had last night. Staff were friendly and the tables clean and tidy. We recommend the Ocean Restaurant to anyone who loves a good meal and at reasonable prices.

Great central location, very polite service, freshly cooked meals that are fast and will absolutely tantalise your tastebuds. Not your usual Chinese restaurant/takeaway...this restaurant cooks more of an old school authentic cuisine. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Absolutely the best Chinese on the coast, Pauline is on the frontline serving with not only a smile but a story. Humble quaint environment with oriental knowledge driving the woks!

Food was delicious, Fried Rice was very tasty and chicken Chowmein was very tasty as well but quantity was bit less for chowmein and the lady who served was nice too. Will definitely visit again when I m around the area
