The Wayzgoose Diner

Firstly all of the staff here are lovely and attentive, food and drinks came quickly. The food itself was amazing, the scones are divine, and so adorable served in a flower pot. Coffee was great, prices all reasonable and the vibe of the whole Cafe is fantastic. Really cute decor, relaxed atmosphere. If you haven't been yet you really need to add it to the must try list!

Retro-style eatery located within Blue Mountains Leura Village, just opposite Josophan's Fine Chocolates. The menu had a handful of vegan and vegetarian items, and gluten-free options were also labelled. The vegan food I ordered wasn't anything to shout about; nonetheless I was glad they catered to different dietary needs especially since the fully vegan eateries in Blue Mountains have closed down. The service was fast and efficient, which I really appreciated as I was on a group day tour and only had a limited time at Leura Village for lunch. Indoor and outdoor seats available. P.S. The word "Wayzgoose" refers to an annual celebratory meal for staff of a printing press, so the name of the eatery is a nice tribute to the fact that this building used to house the local printing press.

Best vegetarian lasagne I've had in Australia. Must try! Delicious juices, coffee. Great vibes and atmosphere.

Kid friendly, delicious food with gf options available (my twin boys are coeliac so I really appreciate this!). Also the staff are welcoming and prompt with their service. The best cafe in Leura for families by far!

Very busy but was able to get a table. Service was great and reasonably fast considering how busy it was. Loved the menu. Loved the food. Loved the look and feel of the diner. Will go back to try other meals off the menu.

We were impressed with the young employee's service and politeness and were disappointed when she was berated multiple times in front of us by a manager while she was trying to serve us.

Great little place. Super busy but they managed to squeeze us in. The fried chicken burger was delicious, very tasty batter on the chicken, and cooked to perfection. I'd also recommend the milkshakes.

Absolutely amazing! The scones are baked into a cup and are massive, the cheesecake was good, the toasties were amazing as well and the chips were in a good serving size and delicious! 11/10 Everyone needs to try this place at least once.

The service here was really good. We were served by a quiet but friendly and delightful young lady. We had a friand that they warmed up nicely. We also had Flower Pot Scones and they seemed to be freshly made for us but we couldn’t work out how so they were pretty good. In general a good place to visit with a eclectic decorated vibe. All good give it a visit

I enjoy coming here for the famous flowerpot scones but this time round they were a bit dry however they’re always served hot with a generous amount of jam & cream. Had the henhouse burger and chips which tasted good and portion size was great. Small busy place but we were served in a timely manner and the staff were friendly and welcoming too.

Friendly and fast service. Delicious selection of fresh and yummy deserts, thumbs up for the caramel cheese cake and of course their flower pot scone! Strong coffee for a pick me up in the afternoon! Good outdoor seating area and pet friendly!

This is my all time favourite breakfast joint in the mountains! It's cosy, relaxed and has a homey feel to it. Their coffee is delicious, they have a great variety of options on their menu and I've never had anything here that wasn't amazing.

When it's a little quieter, the booths are a perfect spot to do a little bit of work as well from my laptop - free wifi as an added bonus.

The staff are constantly working hard to give customers a great experience and always stop to have a bit of a chat if they have time, when there's a break in the flow of regular customers streaming in. Love it here!

I am a tour guide for international tourists and I often take my groups there for coffee. Excellent coffee and a friendly and cozy atmosphere. Must go to the place when visiting Leura.

Service was pretty quick, cafe is really cute and cosy, Dogs allowed in outdoor seating and offered water which was really kind, the vegan garden/vegeterian burger is very good, great menu selection my favourite cafe in leura

We are from Melbourne and came across this cafe. Nice and friendly staff and good food. Scones were huge. Definitely recommend

Had a great time here today with my friend. Everything was so yummy including the soup!! Honestly the cutest little cafe, so happy to have randomly stumbled across this place. Will defs be back here again soon.

Wonderful little retro blast from the past with options that include vegan and gluten free foods. LGBT+ friendly. Worth taking the train from Sydney to visit for a treat. Friendly staff.
