I used to go here as a kid 45 years ago. Took my mum and Aunt back to see Johnny. He still remembered us ! Best milk shake in town.

This place has a heart of gold, the service a beautiful reminder of history that is rare to find these days. While appearances may seem dated, it is truly a diamond in the rough. The milkshakes are to die for, and so reasonably priced you feel you’ve received an absolute bargain. If you’re in The Entrance, skip the sad cafes striving to be modern and visit this one that dares to remain as it was decades ago.

Burgers, sodas and milkshakes in booth seating, this place has been going forever and survived the 90s and 2000s without being molestered, renovated or destroyed by hipsters or developers. It was there in the 50s, there in the 60s, I think it dates back to the 1930s
Tasty burgers and A1 service and a trip back in time. Big credit to those that have kept it going allowing us to relive memories of the entrance and milk bars of the past.

Awesome people, we were impressed with the kindness and service on the first time!
But what happened next is the best part, I left my smart watch in the cafe and I realised after reaching Sydney. Rang the cafe first thing in the morning and they confirmed that it is safe!

An Entrance icon. Established over 60 yrs ago. All locals know Johnny's Cafe. Lola Raft and her brother own and operate this local milkbar and cafe. Best milkshakes in The Entrance. Centrally located opposite The Cinema. Worth a visit and a chat.

I would recommended this cafe to anyone visiting or who lives on the central coast! Lovely food, cheap, has an old school touch to it, and you just can't find service like this anymore!!! Can't wait to go back.

I came over from Perth to see mum.i went over to the golden gate Caffe.met Jonny and lola.verry fresh food great service great history lesson.the cook takes pride in his food.a must go to Caffe if you want good food and old fassion service at a reasonable price.
