Some of the best doughnuts I've ever had - big, fluffy and non-greasy, with interesting flavours that change every week! You can preorder online to be safe, otherwise, if you go in the morning, you should be in luck. The flavours on that day were passionfruit curd and coconut meringue; chocolate ganache, sour cherry pistachio; sparkling strawberry jam; gingerbread custard. I liked the passionfruit curd and strawberry jam best. They were also doing a special for Christmas - "panforte" flavoured mini doughnuts - so we tried those too. Featuring chocolate brioche, spiced hazelnut custard and a wedge of candied blood orange, they were tasty and not too sweet.

Donuts delicious and just enough filling. Not too sweet not too bland. Just nice. They also offer savoury items to take away and why not get a coffee to pair it with. Yum.yum.yum

MEGA delicious local sourdough donuts! Collect them fresh from the kitchen door on Collins St each Friday. Four new flavors each month. Also find them at the Sunday Farmers Market.

Delicious gin, lemon and lime curd sourdough donut, dough texture is perfect and is not too sweet. Would love to try other combinations next time.

So good I went there twice on a 3 day stay in hobart, great coffee too.

Without doubt the very best doughnuts in Tasmania, and possibly in Australia. I've had doughnuts from all over the globe and these are up there with some of the best I have experienced across Europe. That's just the dough.
I love the modern touch on the fillings, my favourite is the dark choc and salted coconut and then the lemon curd. 👌
This little shop is spotlessly clean.
The staff are so nice and clearly have passion abounds for what they do.

This is one of the best donuts I've ever eaten. I'm surprised to know that they are so underrated. A must try if you are in the area.

Visiting Hobart we always try to pop in to the Farmgate markets for a Lady Hester Donut but missed the market this time. Our daughter pointed out that there is a shop front and perhaps we should go there. So not sorry we went ! Beautiful little shop .Delicious donut flavours and coffee was great. Its also their 1st birthday in the shop and we were treated to a birthday donut with our coffee. Thanks LH and Happy Birthday.

These are the best doughnuts is the whole world. And I know what am I saying. Fresh, tasty and so authentic. I regret we came so late and there was just one chocolate flavour to taste- simply delisious. This doughnuts are the reason to visit Hobart.

I had a fabulous donut at the Hobart winter feast and had to follow up with a visit to the coffee shop. If they added fresh grated ginger to their chai tea that will make it even more authentic and more like a chai? The chai is just a regular tea bag rather than a lovely spice mix but the cakes are really lovely. Its a lovely coffee shop near Battery Point.

Wow, what can I say. Rarely effusive over doughnuts but these were divine and beautifully balanced. Glad to have gone with the custard one and already craving more. Wonderful, gregarious staff as well who are happy to chat. Great food and service all round.

Best donuts I’ve ever had. So yum, the flavours are very exciting. Not sure why they’re only open on Fridays, but it definitely creates an air of excitement.

Pick them up in the Sunday market. $6 each. Worth a try.

These people know how to make delicious food and coffee. It's small so grab and go but you will not be disappointed. Well done Lady Hester!

Delicious decaf iced latte for $5. Service with a smile. Can certainly recommend the coffee here!
