Iluka Motel & Restaurant

We stay one night in the motel, the room was clean ,brighten and close to the beach. We had the breakfast in the downstairs restaurant next morning. 20% off for the motel customers. Great food and coffee in a comfort and relaxing dinging environment. Had a wonderful experience.

So happy we stumbled across this gem. Beautifully friendly staff in a very relaxed setting and excellent food. We will definitely be coming back here!

Nice clean restaurant, they are bit pricey but the food was good specially the breakfast and coffee was great.

We recently visited Apollo Bay for seven days & tried Iluka Restaurant on our first night for dinner. We were impressed by the food and friendly staff. After trying a few other places we were convinced that Iluka was the best restaurant in Town. So we kept going back.
The food was excellent, the deserts were delightful & the staff very friendly.
We highly recommend it. You can’t visit Apollo Bay without visiting Iluka Restaurant.

The shop is closing yet they still take my order. Seafood pizza is delicious.

We ate at this restaurant on the 29/04/2018. We were a group of 42 Assyrian people and were extremely satisfied with food and staff. Thank-you for a great experience.

Hidden gem in Apollo Bay!! Highly recommend. Great food & perfect location.

We love this place and stay all the time. Apollo Bay still has the charm of a little seaside town and this place has that feel to it. Across the road from the beach and above an unpretentious takeaway shop (owned by the same people) which does a breakfast to rival any of the more trendy spots down the road. It costs only a little more to stay here than at the backpackers but the setting, the staff and the location are a world apart. Thanks again for another fantastic weekend. We will be back!

Superb food and very friendly staff! Also a great location! We loved the salmon on super salad and the duck leg dishes! Excellent deserts too! Very kids friendly! Our two little ones (6 and 8) said it’s the best restaurant in town!!!!

We were passing through Apollo Bay and stopped for lunch and by chance we found this restaurant. We ordered a margherita pizza, the scallop platter with chips, and a beef burger with chips. I must say we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was, cooked perfectly, looked appetising and tasted great. The service was also very good and the young girl who took our order, and the lady who brought out the food were friendlly and efficient. Iluka restaurant will definately be our number one choice for lunch next time we stop at Apolla Bay. 10 out 10.

One of best I had in a while. We a group of seven had a very very very different type of taste and finding a Place that suits everyone is near impossible before we found this gem. Was tired and hungry after long day of walking and travelling up and down the great Ocean road and when we stop to eat our lunch at Iluka it's almost 5 in the evening, but to surprise the range of foods have here is amazing and the size of the potion and the taste of every one of the item I tried is amazing. I personally recommend kalamari meal or burger 🍔 with salad 🥗.overall Excellent place and like to recommend this to any one who is travelling through great Ocean road.

We stopped by for lunch in this amazing place, Owner and staff were very welcoming and friendly , they even offered my kids a free pizza. The food was delicious, the fish and the chicken nuggets is to die for. Thanks once again for the amazing service will definitely come back again.

We had dinner at Iluka with friends, it was a warm beautiful day so we sat outside. The waitresses are warm and friendly always smiling, we ordered ’seared prawns and scollops’ (a must try!) and beer battered squid entrees to start with. Both entrees were delicious especially the seared prawns and scallops! For main, I ordered the ’confit duck leg’ and my friends ordered the ’grilled salmon’, my duck was absolutely delicious along with salad side that came with it. We ordered a bottle of Rose Wine we thoroughly enjoyed it, the wine went down so well with the dishes on a warm day. Great ambience of the restaurant, customer service and food - overall experience is a FIVE STAR. Thank you Iluka, we will definitely be back!

Stopped in here for some chips on a busy Thursday afternoon after being rudely turned away from Blue Bird down the street. Lady behind the counter was lovely and gave fast service despite the lunch rush that was on. Chips were tasty. Highly recommend.

I really like this beautiful restaurant and motel. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is very friendly which makes you feel welcome. The restaurant has several different things, like pizza, fish and chips etc.

The environment is stunning. I love small coastal towns and Apollo Bay didn't let me down; Green hills and a clear blue ocean. If only the ocean water could be a little bit warmer, it'd be perfect, haha.

The fish and chips is so good with shark as the fish. The staff always smiling, love this place !

Stayed overnight during the grand final long weekend. It's really heart warming when the owner personally takes you through the check-in process and shows you how to use the heater, where to park, wifi log-in, etc. This level of hospitality is hard to come by nowadays. Thanks, Yvonne! The room is tidy, clean and has everything you need. The restaurant downstairs also has delicious made to order gourmet pizzas and fresh & affordable oysters.

We stayed one night at the Iluka motel during a long weekend. The rooms were cheap, no-frills affairs, but that's exactly what I was after. They were clean and comfortable and we had a lovely view out over the ocean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you're ever in need of a room for a quick stay in Apollo Bay and you don't need anything too fancy, give Iluka a look.

Fantastic food - so much variety! Had quite a selection over the time was here and all top notch! Quality ingredients done superbly (and excellent portions too). Staff are outstandingly friendly. Definite eat at Iluka!
