We were pleasantly surprised by this lovely little café on a rainy day in Apollo Bay. The coffee was good. I enjoyed the excellent vegan focaccia with dukkah spiced pumpkin. The staff were friendly and attentive. Very happy with the service and quality of food.

I had the best omlette I have ever eaten in my life. I complimented the chef personally. Excellent breakfast but it was not peak season so you'll struggle to get a seat in holiday times

The veggie burger and the buttermilk pancakes were Delish. Highly recommended! It is a busy place and no wonder why. The quality of food is amazing.

One of the best cafes in Victoria. Have been here 10+ times and everytime it’s the same quality of food and service.

Beautiful dinner we had that we came for 2 nights in a row while at apollo bay. The specials of the snapper fillet main was so good that we couldnt get enough of it. The fish flesh was so tender and beautifully flavoured, with the side of potatoes with a touch of saffron was one of the best fish dishes i have ever tasted. Kilpatrick oysters were also really great too, had to drink all that savoury gravy from the baked oysters, crisp bacon and worchestire sauce

The food was deliciosa. The bloody Mary was sublime. Great food, great service. Highly recommend.

What a great way to start a Saturday. Great service and great food and coffee. Was busy but still quick to get our food.

Good portion size for the price. Owner/manager was a bit rude at first but became nicer afterwards.

Omg yum! Everything was so good. I’m sad I didn’t have time to try everything (or room). My daughter has coeliac disease and was taken care of with her bacon and eggs on toast, with them using a separate toaster to avoid cross contamination. Thank you.
My husband had the chicken burger, my son had the kids nuggets and chips and I had the bacon and eggs with mushrooms. Chips were really good and we were all very satisfied.
The iced chocolate, which did not have ice in it, was the best ice chocolate 🍫 be ever had. Yum.
I wasn’t super impressed with my mocha though. Admittedly they were run off their feet at the time and it was impressive to see how quickly they were rolling out the coffees but mine was only just warm and not the best I’ve had. However with everything else spectacular we will be visiting this cafe every time we’re in the area and recommending it to friends. Save us a seat 😉

Great place to avoid tourists. Whereas other eateries seem packed with tourists it is clear that this is where the locals know you get great food. Make certain that you check the specials board as that is where the real treats are.

Stopped off for breakfast. Large range and large serving sizes. Bacon was cooked perfect. Was busy during our visit being in peak time, but the food service was quick and easy.

I like the coffee here. Nice place, helpful staff.

I’m grateful to have 8am breakie and ice latte here. Best choice if you need to wake up and leave before 9am for some hikes.

Good prompt service. Very good breakfast with plenty of hollandaise sauce for the poached eggs and tomato chutney for everything else.

We ordered the specials on the day - Tacos and it was yum. Chicken and Veg burger were also really well made. Good service and ambience. Few things could be improved like the old bottles that the water is served in, could be replaced. Otherwise a great stomach filling experience!
