City Beach - Macarthur

Shout out to Noah at city beach Marcarthur! Honestly the best service I’ve ever gotten at a retail store. He was knowledgeable, professional and easy going. Smoothest experience for an exchange of an item. Absolute legend.

Customer service is friendly but in saying that had to ask for service. I was in the shop for about 30 Minutes in the ladies section with staff walking by constantly and wasn’t greeted or asked for any sort of help. More so ignored. Once I asked for service the sales person apologised and helped me out! 👍

Store layout is difficult, it's hard to reach clothing and sizes from the top racks as they are too high,
Staff do not bother to come around and greet you or offer help, you have to seek them as they are usually bunched up around the register or unpacking boxes near the changerooms

My recent experience wasn't pleasant, it was a struggle to get sizes, I did try afew things on which unfortunantly weren't my size, so I had a pile of clothing that needed to be returned, your staff seen me walk out of the change rooms and walked the other way (mind blown🤦‍♀) they didnt want to make a sale or help put them back, so I then had to return everything to the shelves myself and leave without purchasing anything , I should have just thrown it on the floor with the lack of service in there, I'm sure they wouldn't have noticed or cared.👍
I imagine alot of theft would go un noticed here.
Majority of stores have staff assisting in change rooms to help people get the right fit & make sales and to also make sure nothing is stolen and everything is returned to its correct rack
No wonder the store is a mess, management clearly don't know how to run a store here

It’s a good store nice stuff but if you’re a kid or a teenager they follow you around the store and watch you the whole time. We had a guy come up to us and tell us we aren’t aloud to walk around holding rings and other stuff which makes no sense because how else are we supposed to shop like everyone else and we didn’t even move we were in the same spot the whole time. We had 3 employees staring the whole time and just standing right next to us doing no work but staring at us and moving around us in circles i even took photos of it. They made us very uncomfortable. and as we were paying we heard someone say “they aren’t stealing” and then as we left she checked all our bags and not just a quick glance she was looking through throughly for stuff we “stole” but we didn’t.

Today bought 2 items and told at checkout no 20% or 50% off.
Very disappointed.

Most frustrating experience ever. Beeped on the way in and beeped on the way out. Employees kept me in for a while asking multiple questions about my bag, the products I had inside, the store I bought them from because I “beeped on the way out and didn’t beep on the way in”. Girllll I did deep on the way in youse just weren’t paying attention smh. They saw everything in my bag yet still didn’t believe me after so long!!! Asking if I stitched something in my bag as if I had the time to do that… (who would even steal from city beach anyway). Like what were they trying to achieve and find bruh when they saw nothing to prove their assumption. What was even worse is that I told them from the beginning that it could be from the foil packaging and they kept on insisting it wasn’t. I told them there’s nothing to lose to just try… it was the foil and they didn’t admit that they were wrong or sorry. Wasted my time.

Saturday arvo with a long queue of people waiting to pay and had only one staff member at the register despite two other staff walking around.

Cmon man. Bit of common sense would've been nice. Wouldn't take much for one of the other staff to open the other register.

Two staff members in the back, one guy serving with a long line, not they care at all so I took my business elsewhere

Service is soooo slow and the people serving do not even care.

Customer service is non-existent.
