Shri Shiva Mandir

Visited this Hindi temple after a few years and was pleasantly surprised to see the temple in its current form. It is very clean with lots of parking space and the big God statues outside of the main temple give you a great feeling.

You are not allowed to take pictures inside the main temple but can do it outside. Very nice ambience.

Shri Shiva Mandir is a Siva temple situated in Minto in south Sydney and one hour drive from Sydney. The temple has ample parking lots and a canteen. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the principal deities in Hinduism, and visitors come here to pray to the deity, as well as take part in devotional services and weekend prayers.

The atmosphere inside is filled with reverence and devotion, as worshippers come together to offer prayers and seek blessings.

They have everything you may need to offer in the temple. Although it was our first time visiting we bought our own fruit offerings. the pundit will do the pooja and offerings on your behalf. we loved our trip 🙏🙏 om nama shiva

Best place to visit in Minto...Shiv temple 🛕 Hanuman ,Ram laxman hanuman ji ,12 Jothirling ,ganesh temple all you will find in this temple.Good place for Family ,Friends to visit.

Beautiful temple overlooking hills and trees. Calm and peaceful.

Calm and serene surroundings despite being located opposite a street of houses. Ample parking on premises. It’s best if shoes be removed in car.
The main deity in the sanctum sanctorum is that of a Shiv Linga. Only pujaris are allowed to enter.
However the surrounding walls are dotted with other gods and goddesses that can be offered with flowers.
One can purchase a pooja thal from the reception at the entrance of the mandir with fruits and flowers (prices differently for different quantities).
Deepak with oils can also be purchased to burn in courtyard where Shani and the planets are represented. 12 jyotirlinga’s are also represented in the courtyard. The best is the temple bell which can be rung(kids enjoy this the most).
The premises are clean to walk barefoot along the big Statues of Shiva & Hanumana.

Well maintained Shiva temple. It's the only manmade cave Shiva temple. There is an onsite canteen too but it was booked out for the day for a private function.

The temple was beautiful! We visited on Mahashivratri and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We arrived around 7 AM, so there wasn't much of a crowd, allowing us to complete our darshan quite easily.
The temple has statues of many deities, including Ganesha, Mata, and Jyotirlingas. It is located in Minto City, approximately 30 km from Harris Park. We traveled by cab, and the journey was smooth.

The priest at the temple are very kind
Also do visit the Mukti-gupteshwar which is just next to the Shiva temple.

Must visit Shivji temple. Well maintained, great location.

Lord Shiva, Mahadev; source of energy, motivation and healing which I felt after visiting there. Recommended to visit there not far from city. Great place for Hindus.

Great Hindu temple around Sydney. The temple is very good and has beautiful made sculptures. The statue of Lord Shiva is excellent. The only thing about this temple, better to say maximum Indian temples, is that there are donation boxes just under statues. It could be better if they have just one/two donation box inside temple or somewhere. “DONATION BOX” is first thing you notice in the photo.

Far from city but must visit temple in Sydney. Peaceful place 🙏 We can see here the replica's of all 12 jyotirlingas in India
