Echoes Restaurant & Bar Blue Mountains

I celebrated my anniversary with my husband in Echoes Restaurant. It was such a lovely experience. Highly recommend you to book for dinner before the sun goes down to enjoy the sunset over the Blue Mountain.

The food and drink we ordered was delicious and freshly cooked. We didn’t order for desserts but they surprised us by a sweet treat to celebrate our anniversary 😍.

Staffs are friendly and helpful. Such a good vibe there for those looking for romantic dining experience.

I've read some of the less than favourable comments here, but I'm not sure they're talking about the same place that my hubby and I have just returned from a short break to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary...
The service from when we arrived to checkout, was friendly, inviting and all staff were very professional. We booked a room with a view at Echoes and boy, what a view! The room was clean, nicely furnished and included everything that one would need for one's stay.
The food was absolutely fantastic. My hubby and I consider ourselves (amature) foodies. We've eaten in many fine dining restraunts over the past 40 years. The meal we had last night, was absolutely, hands down the best food we'd ever eaten 🍹🍷🍾

I just celebrated my 40th birthday at Echoes this evening with a delightful dinner with my husband, the service was impeccable and the food was delicious. The view was absolutely incredible and we highly recommend the tenderloin or cod as a main- both were outstanding and I would order either again. Thank you for such a thoughtful and considered experience

Easily a 6/5 we had a sunset 3 coarse meal. We didn’t buy any sides and we paid a very reasonable 250$ price total and had an amazing experience. Well worth it. 6/5 “Tuna/scallops -lamb/steak- creme brulee”

Wonderful food...portions could be a little larger. We went for the view of the valley but the clouds just wouldn't allow us to see it.

I came here with my partner and was amazed with the service and quality. Don’t get me started on the incredible location. The food was unlike anything I’ve had recently, the venison melted in your mouth. I had the lamb for my main and was blown away by the flavour combinations and cooked to perfection. The team is brilliant from the kitchen to the waiters. We will be coming back. Special thanks to Aiden for taking such great care on our special day. Aiden was really knowledgeable about wine pairing and considered our comments and preferences, friendly and professional and added to the overall brilliant experience.

Food was excellent. We didnt get to enjoy the view because it was foggy so take note of the weather if you go for the views.. The service was good at first but then they forgot our dessert so we had to wait for long time. The waiter was friendly at first but then got a little bit uncomfortable with the comments. Made my friends uncomfortable.

We were lucky to get a window seat & really enjoyed the relaxing ambience & gorgeous views. Food was quite flavourful and had a Japanese twist to the standard modern Australian cuisine, the lamb & beef was cooked perfectly tender and was generous serving sizes too!

The only down side was the extreme humidity & heat we had to dine in. There was no aircon & we felt like we were in a sauna. It wasn’t the most luxurious experience but overall we still liked the food & ambience.

Wonderful accommodation. I had the cliff view room, and waking up to the landscape was perfect. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was delicious and eating it on the deck was a great way to start the day. The room was very comfortable. Close to a nice cafe and a short drive from most sights. Incredibly restful. Highly recommended.

The place was wonderful and look vintage but great and has a parking space as well. We had lunch at their restaurant and had the two course option with mains and entree. We had the lamb and angus for the mains and quail and salmon for the entree, the quality was excellent 5/5. The view and service was on point, would highly recommend for having a nice meal, it is pricey though but worth it.

Absolutely fab food. Dining was accompanied by a lovely lady playing the piano. Sunset was breathtaking

This is a throwback review when I visited this venue a little while ago. It was such a memorable dining experience. I could not fault a single aspect of my time at this restaurant. We had exceptional customer service and the mountain views were stunning. Nothing beats dinner and drinks with sunset views. The food was incredible. Not only did it look good but it tasted just as good. I highly recommend trying the Thai curry gnocchi, confit duck Maryland and the pan seared scallops.

It was a beautiful day in the mountains and we decided to book for an early dinner at 5:30pm. We had cocktails on the balcony overlooking the mountains watching the sun go down. It was exquisite! Dinner was also exquisite! Our wait staff were knowledgeable, fun and very professional, just wonderful! The food is Asian Fusion, and delicious! It was fresh and flavoursome without fuss! The wine was so good, I broke my own rules. Worth it!! Apologies for no photos, I enjoyed every moment!

Delicious 2 course meal - meats were perfectly cooked with delicious flavours accompanying and impeccable service.

Would love to visit again, for lunch next time, to fully enjoy the view as going for dinner meant the spectacular views were hidden.

Dinning on a mountain top is not just a room with a view, it’s a breathtaking one that leaves a lasting impression. The impeccable service elevated me to a height of feeling on top of the world. The Modern Australian Cuisine is the epitome of a great fusion, created with such finesse that the memory of its taste lingers. The sound of music fills my senses as a pianist runs her fingers through the keys, immersed in her own art, oblivious to the world. The dining experience at Echoes literally echoes, I’m coming back, coming back, coming back…

My partner and I had lunch at Echoes restaurant. The food was sensational. The service impeccable and the view was breath taking. Would definitely dine here again. Wholeheartedly recommend this for a wonderful dining experience!

We had a function here and received amazing service. The food was excellent and no requests were too hard. Thanks for having us. Look forward to seeing the view when it isn't foggy.

Echoes has a delicious take on fine dining. There are some obvious Asian fusion notes that are well incorporated and complimentary to the more traditional flavours.

I personally had the genmaicha duck to start - which was perfectly cooked. Followed by the lamb cutlets, which were absolutely fantastic with a well season crust. I finished my meal off with the matcha creme brulee, and was pleasantly surprised that the matcha flavour was well balanced.

Throughout our entire time there we were very well taken care of by the staff and even though we came a little later than the rest of the diners, they insisted we didn't rush to finish our meal.

Delicious and filling fine dining, service was superb from reception to restaurant staff, special mention to Minh our wonderful waiter and other wait staff for rembering our anniversary which was a nice touch. Next time we wil be staying at Echoes Boutique Hotel after our lovely overnight experience at Hydro Majestic.
