We came by for a spur of the moment date night! And by the gods, we were surprised!

The Quaint little Thai shop had a never ending stream of customers the how time we were waiting for our meal! The staff are kind and courteous and were apologetic when delayed due to the number of customers they had to work through!

We enjoys some Satay skewers and crab spring rolls as our entrees and boy were we surprised, the chicken was cooked perfectly but still moist with the best satay peanut sauce I've had so far! The flavour was divine, the crab spring rolls were light and cru chy with the right balance of fillings!

For our mains we ordered the Pad thai, Panang Curry and the Thai curry Crab! And boy were we in for a surprise! The pad thai came with freshly crushed peanuts and flavour packing sauce, the noodles were not over cooked and the protien portion was well sized!

The Panang Curry was my Partners favourite! The sauce, the veggies all mixed up with rice was amazing! A definate must have if your in the mood for a Curry! The coconut sauce was spectacular!

What stole the show for my was the Thai crab Curry! Soft shell crab cooked perfectly with a amazing sauce and crunchy veg! We polished this off before before we even knew it!

The food portions are very generous.
We shared the fish cakes and barramundi choo chee.
It’s not licensed so you’ll need to enquire about BYO alcohol.
The venue is small and very basic.
This place does a roaring takeaway trade.
If this restaurant was set in a beautiful space, it truly would be a wonderful dining experience.

Tasty food and friendly service 😊. We had crab-fried 🦀 rice and Crispy Pork 🥓with basil. Both dish were full of flavour and really tasty 😇. Curry puffs had beans and corn 🌽and we loved it 😋.

Fried ice cream🍦was really good. Place was quite, clean and food was serve on time.

Had steamed barramundi (cooked with ginger and soy, came with bok choy), and chicken larb. Both were delicious. Friendly place. Recommend booking if going on Saturday as was booked out.

Great dishes at a classic thai spot located in the mountains. Curry puffs were great, Pa Cha Duck was tastey, but the soft shell crab stir fry curry was a hit - would definitely recommend that to everyone. Enjoy!

Our first time here. A real surprise, fast service, not very big or crowded, the food was amazing, particularly the massaman beed, the huge pieces of beef were so melt in your mouth.

One of our favourite restaurant date night spots. Beautiful little tucked away restaurant. We originally found by complete accident and have been pleasantly surprised and regularly make the trip up for date nights. Food is amazing and generous portions. Eggplant chips and curry puffs amazing. The crab fried rice special is also fantastic! Highly recommend to anyone in the area or anyone travelling in the Mountains.

Favourite Thai restaurant in the Blue Mountains. So flavourful and rich. Highly recommend:
1. spring rolls (that are made on site by hand)
2. Yellow curry (with chick or tofu)
3. Laksa noodle soup with veges and tofu

Staff are always friendly with quick service. A clean and welcoming spot for dinner.

Easily some of the best pad thai I have ever had. Nice chill atmosphere, lots of gluten free options and fantastic service as well. Can't recommend this place enough.

The best Thai in the Blue Mountains
Maprang Thai Cuisine is a hidden gem in the Blue Mountains. The food is authentic, delicious, and affordable. We recently ordered a takeout meal for 5 adults and 3 kids, and it was all amazing. The chicken satay skewers, pad kee mao with chicken, eggplant chips, and crispy pork were particularly good.
I highly recommend Maprang Thai Cuisine to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Thai meal.

For sure the best Thai food in the Blue Mountains, and at least on par with the best places in central Sydney.
Try the laksa, the excellent curry puffs and indulge in all kinds of curries.
Also, Tofu Tods are a must!

Delicious food rich with flavour and spices, and BYO was a big plus as there is a liquor store in the same shopping complex. Inside it was a bit cool (during Winter), but the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were friendly.

This restaurant has been in Lawson for some time. I have often seen it when getting fresh bread but never really thought about going there or trying the place. My family and I ordered take away from them for the first time last week. I have to say that this Thai restaurant is one of the best that I have found in the Blue Mountains and I have lived here for 20 years. Fresh genuine Thai recipes great service superior menu than the competition. I lived in Thailand as a child and have always been on the look out for the tastes and smells of my childhood. This is not mediocre this is excellent genuine fresh and tasty Thai cuisine. Now that I have tried this place I will not be going to the competition who often seemed to have australianised their dishes. I am glad to have found this local place as in the past my family and I would often drive all the way to the city to find a good Thai restaurant.

Best Thai restaurant in the Blue Mountains. Amazing food and great service. The staff are friendly and offer fantastic service. You won’t be disappointed when you visit this place. They have an imaginative menu with a great variety of food to choose from. Good coffee and a good selection of other drinks to compliment your choice of meal. A popular place for locals and visitors alike so get there early to get a table. Will definitely be eating here again. It has a comfortable interior and pleasant atmosphere.

Really enjoyed the food here very delicious especially the fish cakes and soft shell crab. Would come back again when we come visit the family in Lawson. We will try different dishes next time. The staff are really nice and friendly too!

Exquisitely fresh and delicious food. Eggplant chips, Peking duck, seafood green curry and seafood salad were incredible. Best meal I've had in the mountains by far and such excellent value. I think I'll come again for dinner tonight!

I go here regularly. Very tasty and well prepared food. Staff are friendly and cheerful. Room is a bit cramped, but probably because they underestimated how popular they would be. Definitely recommend as the best Thai I've had in the mountains.

Been struggling to find a good takeaway meal in the Springwood area lately, as most are very ordinary. Decided to try Lawson; best meal we have had in ages, tasty food, good portions quick service; Very happy indeed.
