Madame Wang's Restaurant

Fantastic cosy little restaurant with amazing food. A family run small business, with experience dining. Food was superb, only down fall was it was so good we could not finish our main and were too full for dessert. Would definitely return, recommend and take others along next time.

One of the best dinners we’ve had in a very long time. This restaurant is fabulous serving a variety of meals from Asia, Europe and Australia. The ambience is artistically colourful and relaxing. Very enjoyable, great value and service and the food quality was awesome. Check out the pictures attached.

Incredible! I’ve been wanting to visit for some years, and finally did so last night. The team at Madame Wang’s easily surpassed my high expectations - all food was delicious, outstanding. In particular I was not expecting to find one of the best Schnitzel dishes I’ve had anywhere - amazing. The team were also accommodating with our 2 year old, who helped us finish our meals. Service was fantastic, atmosphere was special. I am looking forward to revisiting and bringing friends and family.

The food is Awesome. They have vegetarian options too.

Love this restaurant! Lots of interesting decor treats throughout so a great place to take kids. Staff are just so lovely, friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious, highly recommend the Brussel sprouts of all things, they are just amazing! Also..the meraginue, treat yourself!!! But everything was really tasty. Will be back

Hidden Gem!
We've been to Leura hundreds of times, but only discovered Madam Wang's after a google search for "great places to eat in Leura"!

A very quirky, intimate little venue for lunch or dinner with fantastic food and service. Variations to the menu were requested and provided in a friendly and professional manner - not that there's much you would change (I just wanted a low carb option to my salmon meal).

We had a couple of shared entrees (Salt n Pepper Squid & Spring Rolls), mains (2x Salmon, Satay Chicken and Duck) and desserts ("You only live twice" Lime Cheesecake, Chistmas Pudding in brandy sauce (yes!), Strawberry Caramel Tart and the Strawberry Summer Palace - all mouthwatering! Four very happy people!

Fantastic restaurant with a cosy Asian inspired eclectic feel. Great service a surprising menu as we thought it would be a typical Chinese style restaurant initially but found a surprising menu and delicious good.

It was such a wonderful experience that we’ve had. The atmosphere was so friendly and cozy. We ordered fillet steak and chuk norris does china chicken accompany red wine for main course and drink, and cheese cake for dessert. They were so delicious. Staffs were quite friendly and kind.
I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Excellent fusion menu taking hints from Asian and European cuisine, i had one of the finest steaks I've ever eaten here. Good cocktail menu and adequate wine list to match your food choice. Quirky decor and attentive friendly service. This is a must visit restaurant if you are visiting the lovely Mountain town of Leura.

We attempted to get in over UTA weekend, of course it was full. Fortunately we were able to have take away and so glad we were!
We ordered the spring rolls, satay chicken and beef rendang.
The spring rolls are hand made goodness in pastry. The dipping sauce was a fantastic blend of sweet and sour.
The rendang had the most tender beef, slow cooked and just falling apart with a nice little hint of chilli that danced on the tongue.
The satay chicken was the best I've ever had with a beautiful salad with a honey mustard dressing that was to die for.
The meal was all absolutely fabulous but not as much as the staff, everyone was so welcoming, kind and friendly. Wish we could have got a table as the place feels like home with lots of ornamentals floating around to keep you amused.
Definitely one to return to or if you are local make it a staple!

Western Asian Fusion food... in the mountains?! I was suspicious, but totally sold when I saw the dishes coming out. I had the Main Duck (special) & Dessert Lime Cheesecake. They were exquisite! The Salmon was also great! Worth a go and then some to try all the dishes. From the original owners of Avalon, it’s now the best restaurant in town! Again! 5/5

Madame Wang's was quirky, fun and friendly. Fantastic food, good service, really reasonable prices. We had the Opium Den to ourselves and loved it!

I've been to Madame Wangs 3 times now and it is just amazing. Fabulous atmosphere - the best crispy potatoes I've ever tasted - just a lovely place to have lunch or dinner. Love taking friends there as everyone is just in wonder when they walk up those stairs.

Quirky interior oriental early 20th century athmosphere . A must to experience for a local or a visitor of Leura. Beautiful food. Would suggest an increase in vegetarian dishes

A memorable dining experience at Madame Wang's!
We ordered the Bruce Lee Prime Fillet Steak, Madame Wang Meets Bavaria Jager Schnitzel, Chuck Norris does China Chicken and the Braised & Roasted Duck. The meals were out of this world delicious and my son even went so far as to say it was the best meal he'd ever tasted. High praise. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Decor has an oriental bent with intriguing oddments and curios peppered throughout. A feast for the belly and eyes!

Exceeded all expectations! Delicious entrees (I almost ordered a second crumbed brie, it was so good)! Delicious mains!
