Zest The Library Cafe

Had a coffee with toasted slice of banana bread and cinnamon toast both with butter. They were yummy, coffee was fresh and hot. Prices very reasonable for a city cafe. Great service the gentleman made suggestions and helped me decide, he was smiling, patient and friendly. I couldn't ask for anything more.

My absolute favourite lunch spot in Hobart. Service is quick and personable, the owner always remembers me and says hello. I love the lunch specials and always make time for lunch with a friend when I see gnocchi on the menu!

So glad this little cafe is open again. Love it for a quick brunch or lunch (breakfast currently runs until 1.30 )😀Also easy to watch out onto the street for parking attendants waiting for your metered time to expire!

It's always a pleasure to grab a coffee, fruit drink or a snack from here before heading to the Hobart library right next door 👍

If you are looking for smashed avo and soy chai lattes, then maybe this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for good food, friendly & quick service and all at a good price, then you can’t go wrong at this place. Simple, but it hit the spot!
