Hunter Distillery

One of the best spirit tastings I ever had. Boutique distillery for a reason. Mystery gin was my favorite.

Popcorn liqueur was outstanding It was like liquid popcorn. I enjoyed their coffee vodka which will be good for espresso martini. Also, their lychee and hazelnut liqueur.

Must do activity while in Hunter's valley.

Fun little experience, good break from the wine- at $6.50 a tasting, not bad! Quite a shock after the wines with the bold flavours and high alcohol content, bought the lychee liquor but defs try before you buy!

Me and my family visited here on Monday and boy were we pleased we did! We had a vodka tasting experience with Amber (I think that was her name she had a really cool hat!) who was exceptionally fun, knowledgeable and an all round great host! She knew which flavours to mix with others to create sensational tasting experiences and was just an all round treat to have this experience with. So much so I brought the melon liquor! I will also almost certainly be back for the Turkish Delight flavour as well. Thanks Amber for really going above and beyond!

Came down to the distillery to do a tasting with a friend that I haven’t seen for 11 years. Amber and Travis were incredibly friendly, welcoming and up for a great laugh. Brought home some Mango Liqueur but also thoroughly enjoyed the popcorn and toasted marshmallow liqueur as well as the Mystery Gin! Highly recommend this place to anyone in the Hunter Region.

Great place to taste gin and vodka after you have done with other red and white wines like they are too ordinary to you, then come to this place. $5/pp for wine tasting and they give you each 6 experiment tubes to try 6 types of wines. Great experience and very friendly staff. Highly recommend to book in advance, they are also very responsive.

Funky place to try all different flavoures vodka and gin.

Just had a tour for my friends 21st, the staff and everyone working were very welcoming and Ethan was the main employee giving the tour and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to accompany us. He was great to everyone and he knew what he was talking about when it came to gin, vodka and liqueurs. 100% would recommend

Quirky place that's a little different from your normal HV wine tastings. Popcorn liquor was to die for, but unfortunately was out of stock!
I remember years ago, they offered products in smaller bottles, but I didn't see or notice any this time round.

Liam was absolutely incredible!! He made our day with his knowledge, friendliness and pure wit! Would come back just to have a drink with Liam… products are great too. Highly recommend the popcorn liqueur

An enjoyable tasting experience. The staff member we interacted with was very friendly. It costs $5 for 10 samples which you don't pay if you buy one of their products. A lot of interesting flavours to try. The honey vodka and gin were quite good. Ended up purchasing the honeydew melon liqueur which was fantastic.

A great place to visit. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. They take the extra time to answer any questions you have. Nothing is too difficult for them. The tasting is only $5 and then they'll waive the $5 if you buy something from them. That's what separates them from all the others. Customers first..!!!!

Have been visiting the Hunter Distillery for the last 8 years and it is always one of the stops we make every trip to Hunter Valley.

The flavours here are so unique with the Blue Mystery Ginger, Lychee, Passionfruit and Turkish Delight Liquors being our absolute favourites.

The staff are attentive and helpful, unless you catch them on a really bad day.

Getting to the distillery is pretty easy too with ample of parking available every time we visit.

Went to do a tasting at the distillery today and thoroughly enjoyed it! $5 for 6 generous samples (they could easily charge more), and learned all about the quality that is put into these, everything done by Hunter Distillery - so if you are questioning the price, know you are paying for quality ingredients. I would have bought a few bottles if it weren’t for an upcoming flight home to Canada!

The Hunter Distillery team are amazing. They are friendly, welcoming and happy to spend time with you.
Spirits are so good, organic so that surely makes them good for you.
Well worth a visit on your next time in the Hunter Valley.

Four of us visited the Distillery earlier today and we were thoroughly entertained and were greeted by the lovely Amber. Amber was an absolutely wonderful host, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience whilst enjoying the taste testing.
We will definitely re-visit whenever we’re back in the Hunter.

Great friendly service by Mark and delicious Gins, vodka and the coconut rum was superb !

My best friend and I dropped into Hunter Distillery (our absolute favorite distillery) on Tuesday and met Chloe for the first time. Her bubbly and welcoming personality was just one of the many wonderful things about our experience. Her knowledge and passion for the company was very apparent and we absolutely loved having her for our tasting experience. We were already huge fans because of the incredible tastes but wanted to say thank you for making our day with your above and beyond customer service and your wonderful company! See you soon!
