Fantastic experience with Kristy and Beatrice! So knowledgeable about all the wineries, wines and general Hunter valley region (we asked for dinner recommendations as well). Wines were all tasty, never felt rushed and purchased a few bottles to take away from us. Landscaping is also fantastic, beautifully looked after place and would highly recommend for anyone visiting the Hunter valley region! Thanks Kristy and Beatrice for amazing service and good banter

Excellent experience at Pepper Tree! Shout out to Ebony who hosted us! Friendly and knowledgeable, going to the extent of showing us other offerings that are beyond the standard tasting. We had a standard and single vineyard tasting and we prefer the latter. Won't be disappointed to make a trip here. They also have a picnic ground if you would like to bring some food along to pair with your drinks!

A lovely winery with beautiful grounds and friendly staff who were able to cater to our two different wine palates. Brought along our fur-baby Finn who met the lovely resident fur-baby Evie.

Pepper Tree Wines is one of the most beautiful wineries to visit in the Hunter Valley with its amazing gardens and cellar door. The staff are so friendly and very knowledgeable about their wines. You are welcomed as soon as you walk in, and no matter how busy they are, they will give you their full attention. We tried some lovely wines and walked away with a good few that we will thoroughly enjoy. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Its wine tasting @ $15/pax was an absolute bang for the buck with 8 wines, including red, white and dessert, and they were all so delicious! We added a $15 charcuterie board to go with it. The suggested tasting experience was supposed to be 45mins, but our host Dave was such a baller and made us stayed for 2hrs unknowingly, drinking so much wine we lost count of. We also got the chance to try their 2014 Semillon ($80 bottle) and 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon (think $150 bottle), which we highly recommend if you have a bit more budget. I’m sure they have more to introduce if you let them know your interest. Having been to a few wine tasting in different countries, this is the best experience so far.

We had the most delightful experience here. Sitting outside under an umbrella Ebony was our hostess, and was so generous with her time and knowledge. She was even able to help us with lunch enquires.
We will definitely be back and we can highly recommend Pepper Tree. 👌

First time coming here, I was very impressed by the aesthetics of the cellar door and vineyard, it’s just so pretty you have to stop and take photos, we didn’t feel like a full tasting so we picked three reds, we ended up buying the Tempranillo and Shiraz, delicious wines friendly staff and beautiful location, make a booking they get pretty busy.

The most dog friendly winery we’ve been to! They supplied treats and water and were so lovely. Wines were delicious and the service/ wine tasting was outstanding!

A must stop in Hunter Valley! Incredible wines, great variety, beautiful property and the friendliest experience. Dean and the dogs on property (Zulu, Yummy, Boss) were so friendly - felt like we were visiting an old friend. Our first time visiting the area and so glad we stopped in.

Great staff and amazing place to spend your time. They helped us with lots of patience and details that would allow wine 🍷 tasting, a great experience.

No rush! Swirl, smell and feel the taste 🍷enjoy your sipping wine on your pallets. Don’t forget to buy some good wine, you may get them in retail stores.

Absolute must do! This is one of the wineries we went to during our Anniversary weekend, and I mean everything was just pinpoint perfection from their hospitality and scenic location all the way through to their selections of wine tasting . A special shout out has to go to Dave, for making the experience for us very special with him taking the time to educate and answer all our wine-based questions with a very laid-back attitude (he knows his wines and knows how to explain them very well). He was also kind enough that he shouted us a bottle of bubbles cause me and wife were celebrating our 1st Anniversary.

The rest of their staff is also very friendly, and know how to make you feel at home. I also recommend getting their cheese platter additionally with the wine tasting cause it'll just enrich your experience.

Favorite winery in the world, these guys deliver on all levels. If you’re visiting the hunter make sure you go to Pepper Tree first, even if it’s the only stop it’s the only one that matters. It’s a beautiful setting, the garden grounds, the inside wine tasting area, there’s a fire place for colder days and spots to sit outside on sunny days. The staff are all incredible, super friendly and it’s apparent that they love what they do and make sure you have the best experience possible. Dave and Shaz are absolute legends, it’s the best wine tasting experience I’ve had. This was my third time visiting Pepper tree and I’ll be sure not to miss it anytime I’m visiting the Hunter. If you’re lucky you might see one of their dogs living their best life around the grounds. If you want good vibes and to leave feeling happier than you were when you came in (and not just from tasting their delicious wines) this is the place to go!

From the minute we arrived at Pepper Tree Wines, we were made to feel welcome by the very knowledgeable and friendly Dave. It was by far one of the best wine tastings I have ever experienced and a beautiful setting to go with it. Would definitely recommend to others and am now eagerly waiting to return.

The staff were so lovely and the winery is very pet friendly. Our pup was allowed inside while we had a quick wine taste and the staff offered our pup treats and even played with him for a bit. We would highly recommend the fortified wine! We also took a lot of beautiful pics outside as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. Would definitely recommend dropping by!

We had a wonderful experience tasting so many wines with some extra tastings generously offered. Dave was very knowledgeable about his wine and made the time here very fun. The grounds are adorable and this was at the top of our list to visit in Hunter Valley. We bought bottles to take home and can’t wait to come back!

What a place! Rick was such an amazing host, we loved every second! So accommodating, he let me try a range of wines which catered to my pallet. Highly recommend coming here. Great wine, beautiful place, friendly people!

Was greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable, helpful Ebony. She accommodated us (6 Adults and 3 young children). The wines were exceptional. Spend a few hours there tasting some great wines, which we brought a few. The tasting fee was not asked for as we purchased the required amount. Lovely spot near the Convent. Joined the wine club. Again, cannot thank Ebony enough for her help and knowledge. This was a completely a different experience to the previous cellar door we visited.
