Central Hotel - Bar, Bistro, Gaming & Accommodation

Can’t comment on the rooms here but I called in for a pint and a feed.

The bar has a pretty good selection of beers. It only cost $24 for a pint, burger and chips!

If I wasn’t flying out this evening I would come back tomorrow. Best burger I’ve had in a while.

Pleasantly surprised with this inner city hotel.
Friendly helpful staff. Clean rooms - modern new bathrooms.
Air cond, fridge, tea coffee making, bathroom amenities. Rooms cleaned daily and milk and bottled water supplied.
Excellent central location.
No problem with noise.
No car parking but we could leave car outside overnight between 6pm and 8 am.

Great place to stay while touring Hobart.
Room was great and cleaned daily. Very quiet hotel. Staff were very friendly. It was central to everything. Meals were only served Friday and Saturday nights and the meals were great.

As soon as you enter this venue you are warmly greeted by the incredible staff that go above and beyond for their patrons.
Having worked hospo jobs, retail, and community services i can confidently say the level of customer service these beautiful people provide is excellent! Very proffesional.
Central location with a HEATED beer garden where you can smoke (hard to come by in Hobart CBD)

Had a really lovely dinner here a bit early in the night. Loved the parmy options and we were excited to try a variation we’ve never had before. Tasted great!! Service was really friendly and quick. They gave my boyfriend a local cider on the house to try so that was really nice of them and we appreciated the hospitality heaps.

If you've ever stayed in an Ibis, these rooms have a similar vibe. Basic, but comfortable.

Oh, but if they give you room 3, ask for them to change it because on arrival the bathroom drains stunk of sewage and stayed that way through my entire stay. Thankfully the smell didn't escape out the closed bathroom door into the room.

Perfect hotel for a stay in Hobart. John and all his staff were very friendly and so helpful. Their warm welcome really made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. Great breakfasts and great value. Will definitely be back and recommend lots :)

We made a booking the day before checking in and unfortunately not long after, got stuck in a hard Victoria Lockdown which meant we couldn't catch our flight the next morning. The team were very lovely in issuing a full refund and the customer service was excellent. Thank you so much for your understand and we hope to stay with you once borders reopen!

Had a great stay at the hotel. It was walking distance to Salamanca and the piers. Rooms were clean and toilets were great. There was a fridge, hair dryer, water boiler. Though it was above a bar and gaming centre with slot machines, it was quiet at night in the room.

Swift lunch service, food was great. Service quick. Not a fan if pokie joints and the beer selection very limited. But for a quick pub lunch very good

Fantastic service and recommendations from John at check In, later when we took a rest in the bar and then again at breakfast. Great central location. Clean and tidy room with an included breakfast which made our stay even better value. Would stay again.

lovely little hotel (around 12 rooms I think) right at Hobart CBD area. stone's throw to all the major shopping arcades, wharf and pier, and salamanca market. because it's a small hotel, no lifts installed. the rooms are huge and basic amenities all available. breakfast available for in-house guests, but they take a long time to prepare, so make sure you have enough time. highly recommended.

The staff here are the best, they always remember customers and are great to have a chat to. Perfect place for a quick drink while waiting for the next bus as it's so close to the bus mall. They always have excellent drink specials too.

Lovely, spacious room with huge bathroom. Staff are lovely, the included breakfast is wonderful and the hotel is in a great location , right in the centre of Hobart.

Cozy small place, nice breakfast and friendly staff. Not the newest interior, but seemed to be well held and clean. Very central, but quiet (although that is mainly due to tassie)

Had a great meal and staff were very friendly...all it needed over a drink was a live band and I would have settled in...very nice atmosphere..

Parmi was good, no veggie unfortunately. Beer was really nice.

It's a very basic pub but great staff, relaxed vibe, good food and decently priced drinks
