Great Ocean Road Brewhouse

We really enjoyed our meals. My husband had the senior’s roast which he said was delicious and good value ($20 on any given weekday). I had the salmon on a bed of mash with veggies which was also delicious. We enjoyed the happy ambiance of this venue with the glow and warmth from the fire adding to this. The staff and service was excellent and friendly. I would recommend it to all.

Staying in Apollo Bay for 2 weeks. Without doubt, this is the best pub around. Staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about the beers on tap. Amazing lounge area with open central glass fire, good is incredible. Hugh choice of delicious local beer. It is really busy during peak times, so please be patient.

Right across the road from the reserve/ foreshore. Went for Parma night on Wednesday. Great tasty parma's and crunchy chips. Really well hosted Trivia night too. Really enjoy the atmosphere created by the wood fire and upper and lower platform. Mulled wine was a bonus special of the night! Clean facilities, friendly relaxed service. Love the fact that they are dog friendly in the front and back yard (which are also heated and sheltered). Will be returning on our next trip. Thank you

Dropped in on a last minute decision without a booking but they made a table quickly and no fuss. Great food and friendly service, nice gluten free options.

I ordered a pint to start, but planned to order dinner eventually. The pint was great (Black Knight imperial stout) and I ordered a second when I ordered my dinner. The dinner was delivered to the wrong table but they ate it without saying a word. When the staff realized I had been waiting too long, they made multiple attempts to ensure I was compensated for the inconvenience (all of which I declined).
The beer was great, the food was great, the staff were great. I have no complaints.

Very friendly helpful staff, we had our dog with us, “go straight through to the beer garden”, we were very happy. Food was great, nice big portions without being scary, chicken schnitzel was great, burger was excellent, chips crisp and tasty. Excellent big TV for sports if that’s your thing, beer garden covered so you don’t cook, freeze or get wet 👍. We’ll be back!

Went there at Apollo Bay for dinner and Happy Hour. The beers and cider they had there were fantastic. We went on Parma night and I had the fire eaters and my wife had the mexican very good food. The atmosphere was great and the pub is top notch.

Great food and great outdoor areas. Friendly staff and dogs are welcome in outdoor dining areas. Bar staff member was friendly and even changed the sports channel to the nba basketball after hearing he followed the Lakers. Made his day

Definitely the best Pub in Apollo Bay. Great selection of local beers. Everyone on our table was very happy with there food and service. Great to see the young guy from Yellowstone working there.😁

The bar was welcoming and friendly with some great locally brewed beers available on tasting paddles. The meals were fantastic - great portion sizes and excellent value for money. Try the Portuguese Tart dessert was to die for!

Great food, The steak and seafood bowl was amazing. It gets busy but we had a great meal with some local brew. The red ale and xpa beer hit the spot.

Dropped through for beers and bets, had a great day with schooners of Coopers abundant.

Great bar manager/owner during the day, with the usual cut over to back packers, but all good from them too.

Might drop back tomorrow arvo...why not, right!?

As we continue our brewery expedition across the great southern land, we had to stop off at the most southern pub on mainland Australia, but was also home of the Great Ocean Road brewery or Prickly Moses brewing.

The Black Knight Stout was my go to for the night, but the food menu is also great and we all had a amazing meal.

Make sure you plan a stop along the Great Ocean Road !

Beautiful spot, lots of internal and external seating areas. Good for kids too. The slow cooker beef hot pot was delish. Lots of variety in craft beer. The home brew was great too. Highly recommend!

Fantastic venue, small menu but what they do they do well so no complaints about that. My husband absolutely loves the beer. It's an Apollo Bay must for us :).

Came in for the first time last week and had a great time. Awesome food and service.

My cousin and I visited and had their steamed mussels. We both agreed they were some of the best mussels we've ever had. They were incredibly fresh and tasted absolutely delicious. If you're in the area, highly recommend you stop by and have some. And of course, it goes without saying, but great brews too!

I don’t often write reviews but this place had the best pub steak I have had in a very long time! Great char and perfect medium rare. I didn’t even need the sauce because the beef was so flavoursome. Kids eat free on Friday night was a bonus!

Absolutely loved the friendly service! We were staying in Apollo Bay with our Toy Poodle Leo and from the moment we arrived we (including Leo) felt so welcome. Leo was allowed inside, which made our experience sooo much better. We had drinks, dinner and listened to live music. At the end of the night we asked to borrow 2 of their wine glasses as we had a bottle of wine to drink back at our caravan and they let us. We returned them the next day. Our total experience was amazing and we will definitely be telling all of our friends about it and be back at our next chance!
