Small but charming. The cuisine is wonderful, and the flavours are fantastic. I had the Baramandi green apple salad, green curry, and barbecued cow tongue. It's a bit pricy for three people, but you can never say no to ox tongue!

I recently had the pleasure of ordering takeout from this incredible Thai restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The food was not only delicious but also prepared in a timely manner. The yellow curry, Tom Yum soup, chicken Pad Thai, and crab rice were all bursting with authentic Thai flavors. The staff were extremely polite, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. This place has been around for a very long time. Food is fantastic authentic and fresh and lychee drink off tap. Service and hospitality with a smile.

Hear me out…my partner lived in Thailand for 4 years and said the food at Valley Thai is just as delicious as the street food in Bangkok (suburb Lad Phroa) and we’re talking super fresh, spot on comparison! The larb chicken is to die for, yummy fresh veggies, rice was perfectly cooked and I always go for curry puffs. Our dinner also arrived quickly, we dined in and the service was excellent. I knew it would be good because the number of pickups for takeout kept coming the entire time we were there.

This places food is soon delicious and fresh every time. It's also got another business I think of the same owner in Edmonson Park with a different name tho. This place is definitely worth u trying u will be impressed having an enjoyable meal..

Edit: 1 year on and this place is still incredible!!! Solid selection of traditional and western inspired Thai dishes, with portion sizes easily catering to 4+ people. Solid location, and friendly staff. Take away does get a little busy, but rightfully so. Suggestion of sit down or take away any time of the week 👌

Valley Thai has been a favourite local of ours for many years. Food is consistently good . Vegetable are fresh , the flavours are authentic .

Ordered the chicken larb and the soft shell crab, huge servings, the larb isn’t traditional but it makes up for it in size and the massive amounts of chicken in the dish

I have 5 star for service, first time in this restaurant and found food was tasty but bit salty, chef response was very good and changed it immediately. Need to sharpen waiters service.

Valley Thai has been a great addition to the local cuisine on offer for many years now. We love their tasty Thai and while after the refurbishment, the dining area is now smaller but very pleasant, the food remains the biggest drawcard. Highly recommend these guys for some very tasty, fresh and healthy Thai.

Food has always been fantastic. It's fresh hot and flavourful. Service has always been nice and friendly. The atmosphere is good, after the renovations, the restaurant looks more updated and fresh. It's been clean every time I've gone in to pick up food. I would probably suggest for the menus to be updated as they look quite old and a bit frail.

We eat here often and honestly it has never disappointed. The food is flavourful, the venue is clean and the staff are prompt and friendly.

Been going here for years for a reason. I only ever knew of one place that had great tasting Thai food back in Mascot. I was quite happy to try this place out awhile back and found it matched the place I knew previously in terms of taste and flavour. The pad-see ew, pad thai, thai style fried rice and laksa to name a few that we've tried here is quite flavoursome. Now I bring my young kids and family here to continue the trend.

We ate in for lunch.
Pad Thai, Penang curry and chefs special pork. The portions were generous and food delicious. $42 was the total and enough left over for 2 more meals. Had dinner just before Christmas 2022 and was wonderful, had the paw paw salad, fresh and very spicy.

Excellent curries!! Partner & I ordered Massaman & Red Thai Curry & we were not disappointed! Very big portion size and tasted phenomenal.

Pad Thai wasn’t the best but the curries made up for it.

Will definitely be coming back. 5 stars.
