Most of the doctors at the surgery are very knowledgeable , friendly and helpful however, Dr Sorani would have to be one of the most knowledgeable and thorough doctors that we have ever been to and we have been to many doctors over the years.
He has helped to save my life on several occasions.
The staff are very busy but we have found them to be courteous, friendly and helpful.

Everytime I come to this clinic the service is different. Sometimes the receptionists are lovely and some days they are rude or don't acknowledge you even though you have just walked in they don't greet you. Next thing Im not so happy about is the waiting time to see a doctor. Its been two hours and so far my name hasn't been called. The others who were here before me have all left and even some new people that have arrived after me have left and it makes me think that those people were put in front of me so now I am made to wait longer. I only came in for a medical certificate, a referral to see my specialist and results to a test I did recently yet its taken more than 2 hours to see a doctor. This is absurd! Not the first time I had to wait this long either. BEWARE!

A tip to the front desk. Even if your on the phone. Jusy look up and acknowledge the people waiting in line that you see them and indicate you will be with them in a moment. That wouldnt make people feel like sheep

Handy Medical Centre,but too many people waiting,the population is growing,it's not the receptionists fault doctors,just go early...

Avoid Dr. Sorani - he's not interested in helping you. Seems to be keen in high turnover (more $$$$).
5 months after I got blood tests there, I finally returned for results, plus several issues I wanted resolved including a terrible flu that wouldn't go away.
He dismissed all my questions with answers I could have got from asking a friend what they thought the issues might be.

When I asked about waking up in middle of night and difficulty returning to sleep, he said he doesn't prescribe sleeping pills. I said I didn't ask for it, I'm after a solution. He answered 'change your habits'. 'How?'. 'Warm bath, reading, relaxing music'. 'I've tried that.' 'Change your habits'.

Complete waste of time. No resolution to any issue.

My visit to Dr. Michael Sorani at The Valley Plaza Medical Centre was a complete disaster. His lack of professionalism and dismissive attitude were appalling and downright hostile. His incompetence and indifference bordered on negligence. The receptionist was equally toad faced and atrocious, displaying rudeness and contempt. I strongly advise against choosing this clinic for anyone seeking competent and respectful healthcare. Steer clear of this abyss of unprofessionalism masquerading as a medical facility if you value your health and sanity. 1 star is seriously only because its the lowest I could choose. If you're treated badly at this clinic remember to let the ombudsman know. No one is immune from accountability.

Very poor customer service from the receptionists. Lots of miscommunication and they do not apologise for their mistakes.
Sitting here with a sick 1 year old, asked for Dr Sorani, she booked it in, then we were told we couldn't see Dr Sorani after 30 minutes of waiting so we waited all that time to be put on the end of the queue for another doctor.
The lack of professionalism and organisation is their customer focus here. Do not come here unless you're desperate for a medical certicate.

my experience is the same as everyone elses customer service is always rude, you can barely ask where the toilets are without them having a go. i’ve seen 2 doctors there. who always makes me feel like im wasting there time & im making symptoms up. for example. i went i. with frequent urination, dizzy, dehydrated, eyes turning fuzzy. they told me to drink more water and nothings wrong without doing test. about an hour later i was in emergency with sugar levels above 45. another time i had an infection after ingrown toenail surgery. where i couldnt walk/was told to wear thongs. they could tell i couldnt walk. i asked for a dr cert for work. they yelled at me, saying they dont give dr. certs. so was i expected to go to work in thongs on one leg?

This is the last time I'll be back on this medical center..

Doctors are not accomodating at all... they make you feel you show up in there and making up your signs and symptoms and the atmosphere during consultation is like I'm wasting her time😓.Felt like I owe them anything or I'm disturbing them for seeking medical advise. I don't abuse the system I live in Australia for the past 13 years and it's my 6th times using the medicare. I don't go to GP if I don't have to.

Doctor Fedwa Dakhil is a nasty and incompetent creature. Keep away from her at all costs. She's evil.
