Holiday Inn Express Newcastle, an IHG Hotel

We had a wonderful stay! The room was comfortable, the spaces were clean and the breakfast was amazing. The hotel has a very good location, close to shops, restaurants and the beach. The parking is 20$ per day for guests, it is okay since parking outside can be mire expensive. The place is suitable for a short stay, business or a getaway in Newcastle. We really enjoyed, special thanks to David for his service!

Couldn't have asked for more. In a great location with quite nice rooms for a quick stay. Free breakfast too.

On the day of my checkout I was quite unwell and the staff were so unbelievably accommodating. Very thankful and will be back!

I had the best stay at the Newcastle Holiday Inn. Overnight parking is an additional $20. The breakfast offered a good variety of options. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with a kettle, mini fridge, and cutlery, though there was no microwave. I will definitely come back again when I visit Newcastle.

The rooms were luxurious and furnished in a modern yet comfortable manner. The bedding and pillows provided exceptional comfort, and the television was strategically positioned for optimal viewing. The bathroom was both inviting and well-equipped, featuring a step-down shower with an adjustable hose shower head. While the fitness center may not have been extensively equipped, it was sufficient for an adequate workout.

Great place to stay. Staff very helpful, good breakfast, comfortable & clean room. Also nice to have laundry access at a very low cost. Well positioned close to light rail but we found it ok walk to most things. We would definitely stay again.

The staff were helpful, and the room was clean. I was surprised at how convenient the location was. Only 2 blocks away from the train and 2 blocks in the other direction was Coles. The breakfast buffet (which is included with your stay) covered every category that someone could want. The only downside was that the shower couldn't maintain the temperature. I felt comfortable here.

First time in a Holiday Inn and couldn't recommend it enough for efficiency at check-in, cleanliness and size of room and for the buffet breakfast and value for money. All staff very polite and friendly. Would highly recommend and will be returning again when next in country.

Had a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn Express! The hotel is impeccably neat and tidy, and the service is truly excellent. It offers everything you need for a delightful break. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of having refreshments and snacks available at the reception. Additionally, the small menu for ordering food came in handy when I was feeling peckish. Overall, a highly recommended choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This is a great place to stay with some rooms having a view of the park. In the evening we watched the fruit bats and other birds, it was lovely. It's quiet inside, didn't hear people in the corridor or road noise apart from sirens. We stayed on NYE so I expected noise. There's a free breakfast included in the booking but we slept through it. Judging by the rest of the service I'm sure it was good.

The beat place in Newcastle to stay for couples and families alike. Great rooms, easy access to all of Newcastle and wonderful food and beverage. Service is wonderful and always pleasant.

The reception was very helpful and polite.
The room was comfortable and quiet.
The breakfast was fresh and delicious.

Perfectly situated hotel right in the centre of Newcastle. Only a very short walk to the main station and light rail. Parking was easy and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The rooms were okay, and the service was exceptional. For a holiday it was great, and I'd imagine for a business trip it'd tick all of the boxes too. Thank you!

Room was clean and tidy, staff were very helpful and friendly, close to the light rail and train station, gym was good, breakfast was very good, has laundry facilities as well that is reasonable. Definitely recommend staying here.

I was quite impressed by this place on a recent business trip to Newcastle.
I didn’t expect much, but found the hotel to be quite recently renovated/refreshed, so the decor and fit out looked reasonably new, neat and tidy.
Staff were friendly, if a little stretched manning the front desk and the bar/coffee machine, but they were attentive.
Clean rooms with everything you’d expect.

Good hotel in a good location vets are comfortable but the food options are limited at the moment in the great room

I didn’t expect a lot while I booked as me and my family stopped only one night to have a rest to continue our trip to gold coast.However I was impressed by the place and surrounding entertainment areas. The staff are very friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable.

We went there only for one night, the stuff was super kind, the rooms smelled good and where perfectly tidy.
The breakfast was also so good.

I will no recomend to go more than two nights. Otherwise you can get a bit bored.
