Goshu Ramen

Went twice for dinner and lunch and amazing birthday times. Farely well priced for Sydney, down side is the seat is outside. They have heaters and blankets but you are right by a busy road. Food is worth it though and the service is great. There is a restaurant next door and they ignored me, the greater at Goshu was on it and got me seated with in seconds

I came here after a long day and after 3 bus cancellations in a row but the food and kindness of the staff cheered me up. Worker would top up my tea before it was below a quarter cup. This is definitely worth a visit if you’re waiting around at wynyard!

Absolutely delicious and authentic Japanese restaurant. We came here once and haven’t stopped coming ever since. Highly highly recommend the spring rolls and miso soup. Love their don and ramens as well. Especially love Linda who is exceptional with her service and a big smiling face!

The staff made us so welcome with a lovely smile and it was a cold day so they brought the heater closer to our seat and each seat had a blanket! How lovely💛
They also gave us hot tea (maybe too hot so be careful when you drink😅)!
The food was too good for us to remember to take any photos so you should go there to see how good it is!

My experience at Goshu Ramen on York St in Sydney left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a hostess who exuded warmth and hospitality. Her friendly demeanor set the tone for what turned out to be a delightful dining experience.

Speaking of the food, it was nothing short of exceptional. I opted for the Wagyu Beef Steak Don, and it was a true indulgence. The succulent slices of Wagyu beef paired perfectly with the bed of rice, creating a symphony of flavors that left me craving for more. My girlfriend chose the Pork Ginger Teppan Yaki Set, and it was equally delightful. The tender pork infused with ginger was a taste sensation.

What's more, the prices at Goshu Ramen were surprisingly affordable, especially considering the quality of the food and service. It's rare to find such value in the heart of Sydney, making Goshu Ramen a standout.

Overall, I can't recommend Goshu Ramen enough. From the warm welcome to the delicious food and reasonable prices, it's a dining destination that exceeds expectations on every level. Whether you're craving ramen or exploring their other offerings like the Wagyu Beef Steak Don or Pork Ginger Teppan Yaki Set, Goshu Ramen is sure to impress.

Arrived in Sydney and this was the first restaurant that welcomed us with open arms. Amazing food, even better service. Loved the place. We will be back for sure.

If you look for decent, tasty and value for money
Japanese food in the city, this little restaurant is one of the best places you should not miss! Consistency in food quality and services!

We were looking for a light, quick dinner to let the train rush to pass and saw this place. The building is old, so is the restaurant. In fact it claims to be the oldest ramen house in Sydney 😊

Ordered gyoza, soy sauce ramen and katsu Udon. Gyoza came out first and it was a home run already! Crisp on one side and juicy in the inside, reminded us of the usual fare we would get in Tokyo and Osaka, but not here in Sydney.

Ramen and Udon next and the amount of toppings relative to the price is crazy! Both broths tasted good, noodles spot on, and all in all very filling.

Service is top notch, like being looked after by your mom at the home table.

Final surprise was the bill as it is ridiculously cheap for the quality and location - definitely made us future regulars.

Reasonably priced and delish bento boxes. Have been going here for the last 7 years. Always accomodated by warm smiles

I was after some food with my friend after work, and this place exceeded the bill!
I first noticed how hospitable the staff were, they made us feel incredibly welcome, and immediately gave us water and tea to drink. : ) (Well balanced between offering refill's and allowing space to chat.)
I ate the Oyako Udon, which was a generous portion packed with perfectly firm Udon noodles, plenty of meat, egg, and a big juicy piece of fried tofu. The food really filled me up, and wasn't over or understated. It was really delicious!
We also shared some Salmon Sashimi, which was quite fresh, not the best I've had but certainly excellent. : )

People here very friendly.
Japanese food really good and they are very generous in their servings.
Easy to find. Near Wynyard Station.
Must try if you like Japanese food.

Tasty Japanese cuisine, really liked how big the portions are. Complementary hot great tea is a good too, especially in winter! And last but not least - very friendly lady, that was serving, always love how happy she see people in the restaurant. P. S. Prices are pretty fair too!

Had the sashimi bento box and pork schnitzel. Taste was good and portion is generous, some of the sets offer unlimited rice. Staff are friendly and quick to top up your cup of table water. Casual vibe outdoor and indoor seating. Also offers hand sanitizer at each table.

My son and I ate here today. We discovered it in passing on the way back to the city from our Bridge climb. The teriyaki chicken egg noodle soup is verrry yummy.

The owner of the restaurant said she has had this restaurant 30 years. I can see why. The food is affordable and tasty. The service is very good too. I would definitely come back here. There are so many pricey restaurants in Sydney. It’s so nice to find one that is easy on your pocket and has easy healthy food.

Also, they have blankets to cover your knees on cold nights. I love that.

Many choices of Japanese traditions menu, Ramen. UDON, Japanese curry, Rice dish, Bento, Shaimi. Ramen is one of my favourite down to earth dish. KARA AGE Ramen with Deep fried chicken is very satisfying, so tasty marinated chicken. Recommended 👍👍
