Passed by Milkwood Bakery and decided to try a few of their pastries. Got the beef bourguignon pie, a cinnamon cruffin, and a cream Danish. The pie was exceptionally good with generous chunks of beef and a perfectly balanced flavour. The cinnamon cruffin was buttery and flakey, while the cream Danish with raspberry and mango pieces, was refreshingly light and didn't leave me feeling sickly. Each pastry had just the right amount of sweetness. Although I was initially indecisive, the server was incredibly patient, friendly, and welcoming. I'll certainly return to try out the other menu items.

Update: Been back so many times since we moved to the Southcoast. Still loved their lemon yoghurt tea cake, orange almond friands and pies. Today we tried the berry custard tart. Loved how this place has been so successful.

I bought lamb and pinenut sausage roll and they're so good! Also their bottled orange juice is the real thing. I also bought portuguese tart and a lemony cake, both gets a big thumbs up too 😊 I'll be back

Their brownie is prefect, very rich. Coffee is also good.

Wow! Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Fantastic selection of food. I wish I could've bought some of the lovely fluffy pastries. The pie was perfectly yummy! The bacon add egg was also very yummy with bacon cooked to perfection for my 10yo. Milkshake was also delicious. Service was prompt and food came out quickly. Outside seating was pleasant too.
Will come back for sure!!

A busy Saturday, but fast service didn’t have us waiting long. Great pies of all sorts, had to have a custard tart with berries, and nice coffee as well. Friendly staff, well priced, and lovely on a sunny afternoon to sit outside (if you can find a table) and enjoy the quaint atmosphere of Berry. Would recommend for breakfast, lunch, dessert, he’ll even dinner if you’re so bold.

Amazing selection of pies, pastries and sweets. Tried the Classic Pie and Lamb and Pine nut sausage roll. Absolute quality with tasty fillings. Definitely worth checking out if you are staying in or passing through Berry.

The baked goods at Milkwood is consistently delicious and well crafted. The meat pies and sausage rolls feature buttery and flaky pastry with luscious fillings. The sweets are also brilliant, we had the bee-sting cake and it was the most awesome.

If you don’t buy at least four things here, you’re silly. Pastry is excellent, buttery, flaky. Pie fillings are excellent. Sausage roll - perfect. The single origin cold brew is amazing, a surprise and delight to find coffee this good (coming from my Melbourne-coffee snob-fiancé this says a lot). The egg and bacon roll - wow. I could hear the bacon being cooked fresh, and the joy of my day was in the sound it made, which was clearly cooked to perfection before being handed to us (the yolk was also runny, perfect, bun was perfectly complimentary for all the textures, and the relish was delicious). Can’t fault anything.

A must go when you're in Berry!! Plenty of sweets & savoury options and none of them dissapoints. Every bite of the spinach & feta roll just melts in the mouth and their sweet pastries are exceptionally crumbly. Definitely worth a visit!

This bakery is DISGUSTINGLY good. I am ashamed to say that having lived in Sydney my entire life there is not a bakery there that even comes close to the glory of this place. My friend and I climbed a tall, tall mountain on which we were extremely cold. The small, indiscriminate slab of carrot cake we bought warmed our hearts and souls, an experience I will remember for the rest of time. If I had to eat at one bakery for the rest of my life, it would be this one. Do yourself a favour and go here. Compliments to the chef👏👏👏👏

Formerly the Berry Pie Shop, the Milkwood Bakery in insanely popular but with good reason, as the pies are incredible. Arrived for lunch and there was a massive queue out the door! Their pie flavours are a mix of traditional and quirky; we ordered the beef bourguignon and chorizo & potato pies. Both were amazing! We also potted some big sausage rolls and got a lamb and pine nut which was also great. The coffee is notably great.

Amazing bakery! Friendly staff and the pastries are to die for. Best pies I have ever tried. We had the chicken and bacon pie, the chorizo and potato pie, the beef pie all super delicious. And for dessert the raspberry tart and the lemon curt tart. They look so delicious that didn’t have time to even take a photo - just yum!

The pies here are awesome, and they also serve many other sweets and savouries that will make you lick your lips.

Beef bourguignon pie is a stand out favourite. The other pies are delicious as well, chicken, leek and mushroom.

We stopped again on the way home form the South Coast a few days later and tried the potato and chorizo pie and also the sausage rolls, they are huge and delicious. Especially the spinach and ricotta sausage roll, and their beef sausage roll.

A definite place to stop on any road trip, or if just in Berry for a day visit!

Doing brisk business as was everything else in Berry. A very busy town with a paucity of loos. We had a few nice wraps from here. A Thai need one and a chicken and avocado. Both were delicious

Fantastic range of beautiful pastries at this little gem of a place in the heart of Berry. The sausage rolls are next level. The macadamia tart was a great way to finish a delicious lunch.

I returned here after more than 10 years or so. Back then I could not fault the food. It was excellent.
Things have not changed since. The food is still awesome.
The difference here is there was an air of welcoming all walks of life.
I hope this place lives on for the next generation.
