Hakataya Ramen

I tried miso ramen and the spicy ones. All are good. The portion is smaller than expect.

I have not visited hakataya ramen since before covid and have noticed a decline in many of my favourite restaurants so I was curious to see if here was the same as it used to be. I visited the pacific fair store on thursday 6/4/23 and I noticed there were two young male chefs working that day, I didn't wait long for my meal but the quality wasn't good the noodles were hard and thin and the pork was a little dry also extra noodles were cold and I had decided based on this experience that I wouldn't return as the standard had diminished but I believe in giving second chances so I thought I would try again another day.

I returned the next tuesday 11/4/23 and I had to wait a little for my meal and was told extra noodles were coming as they were being cooked and they came out hot and there was an older male chef working that day and you can tell he has been doing this for mamy years as he has perfected the art of noodles, they were thick and soft and the pork slices were tender and the broth smooth and delicious. I am glad I decided to give here another go as I was not dissapointed 😋 I only wish I had gotten his name as I would like to return when he is working and to say how delicious my meal was 👏 Staff are always friendly and helpful

Delicious ramen! Ordered the Spicy Miso-Men. Food came out quickly and tasted very good. It was maybe slightly too spicy for me so I didnt finish the broth. Staff there is super nice and friendly! Will be back to try other ramens😋

My friend and I go there every week, we love the Ramen with extra noodles and Takana. Very affordable, has good service, and the staff are very friendly!

The ramen is very good but the portion is rather small. Limited menu option but is a good place to fix your ramen crave.

Miso Hakataya Ramen is the go to place after your shopping spree in pacific fair . Love the broth, the melting pork, seaweeds , mustard greens and hand made fresh noodles is to die for 👍🏾🙌🏾

Ramen is tasty. I like dropping when I visit pac fair. It can get quite busy though.

ramen was authentic and affordable!! they have a deal that you get extra ramen for free and it was so good that i had two servings of ramen😋 highly recommend hakataya if you're looking for ramen in the gold coast!

The photo attached is one the first times I came here in 2016! Just look at the difference in price lol In saying that since 2016 my family and I have come almost every week since then (no exaggeration either lol) Every single bowl we have had is excellent even when I have to get it takeaway! The staff are amazing and over the years have become friends, they’ve seen me at the best of times and because I normally go on Sundays they’ve seen me hung over as well 😂 I get the miso ramen and it’s always on point!

Where would I be without Hakataya Ramen. I use this place and the restaurant in Surfers Paradise as the benchmark against which I judge all ramen shops.

They've never let me down, it's always worth the miniscule wait, and coming from someone who travels Japan often, this is about as authentic as it gets on the gold coast. There's other places that deliver a more ramen shop style ambience, but this place has what I like to call the taste and broth factor.

They did char siu a lot of justice. It was everything I ever wanted in my bowl of ramen, some legit char siu.

Favourite ramen is the Hakataya ramen which is spicy. The ramen broth and thinly sliced pork at this place are the best 😋

After getting disillusioned by pricey food in the area, Hakataya Ramen was truly a delight!! Ordered the spicy miso ramen and polished every bit of it. Something about a warm bowl of ramen that warms up my heart and returns my faith in food on the Gold Coast. :")
